  1. I've gone through a box of the 2nd Gen and 3rd gen Kirkland balls the past several weeks. I WANTED to like them since they are so affordable, but I didn't really like either. I guess I liked the 2nd Gen a little better, but both were extremely low launching and very clicky/hard feeling for me. Though they aren't the extreme price value of the Kirkland, I have been gaming the Vice Tour and Srixon Q Star Tour as of late. Vice about $27 a dozen, the Q Stars about $32. But when it comes down to it, I guess it's only a value if you get what you want/need out of it. But I see both the Vice and the Q as values to me, they give me what I want and are cheaper, in some cases much cheaper, than other brands that don't give any more, not for me anyway.

  2. Great review again! I was hoping the V3 would be better but from yours, and other reviews, this is a big disappointment.
Although…they just came out with their yellow version. But that will not sway me.
I’m going to pick up a 24oack of Zip balls that are $20 at my local golf store and be confident in the performance.

  3. I’m a Sam’s Club guy, so I’m waiting for the “Great Value Premier” line – one piece ionomer 130 balls for $16.95. Let’s go, wal fart.

  4. Tell you the truth I never cared for the kirkland golf ball, great price so so golf ball. You might have to spend more money but it worth to get a better golf ball.

  5. I found one of these the other day I might hit it today 9/27. Let me ask you what three balls are you gaming as of this year 2023. Some of the other reviews I have seen, these two versions were about the same. I’m wondering if they are all manufactured in the same plant. That thing does look beat up! Lol! One of the plants had a fire last weekend too, will that have an effect in the future? Thanks for the review

  6. If you're a high speed, high spin player, forget about these, they spin way way way too much. If you're a weekend hacker who loses tons of balls though and could use a bit more bite in your ball, these are a great value. I grabbed the ver 3 hoping they'd be a little less spinny than ver 2 but they are basically the same ball. Verified on launch monitor as well. getting like 12000+ spin on wedges. My swing speed is around 110-112 with the driver so YMMV of course based on speed

  7. V2 spun way too much, I lost distance on mid irons and down because it just ballooned. Also, I would cut right thru the cover with my Team Yoshimura wedge. Harder and less spin is good, and it should perform better on the driver. I think this ball is too hard for the way you hit the ball.

  8. Hmmm, I already ordered some and are going to play with them this weekend. I'm interested to see how they play. I actually thought the v2s were a little on the harder side so I wonder how these will feel. I guess we'll see how they play.

  9. Got a free sleeve at a golf outing. Thought they were decent, never played the other versions. Definitely spun fine and wasn't short by any means.

You should review the Spalding Tour SD. Urethane cover, three piece under $20. Sneaky good.

  10. I have a nice stock of the last version. Anyone hear word of the KSig iron release? Since they were pulled from the conforming list I haven’t heard anything. Is Indi golf still involved in manufacturing them?
