There is a rhythm to basketball. It's not a requirement but alot of good players will tell you dribbling the ball can feel like a dance with your opponent. Personally when I get to the court my warm up routine involves a little bit of dance( just a little) and it just gets me in sync.
You can also notice the same when there is music courtside. The dribbles tend to align to the beat and when the beat drops a shot goes up. Its just beautiful that's all I'm saying
