Cool Creek in Wrightsville, PA, is one of the nicest public courses I've ever played. Don't forget to get a croc burger at the clubhouse. Such a solid course

I was confused at first when I saw your thumbnail. The thumbnail clubhouse in the background is Reunion CC in Mississippi. A true gem in the south most don’t know about. Alexandria, La has a free golf course called the Historic Bringhurst Golf Course. Its 9 holes all Par 3s and pretty nice.

For a free course that looks very good!!! I just played Pittsburgh National a few weeks ago and it was an absolute mess. In addition to the course being mediocre, the course staff were incredibly rude throughout the round. Would much rather play this course with people who seem to actually care about their patrons and not trying to be elitist.
