Carlos needs to follow in the footsteps of Nole to become the GOAT as he has all the capabilities. It will be very tough though however Alcaraz won't have Federer and Nadal to play too.

I find it interesting that in this interview and some of the past ones I've heard, he doesn't mention Federer as one of his main rivals. There is no doubt that Rafa has to be his biggest rival but surely Federer has to be next in line before Murray. I believe Djokovic has a h2h advantage of 27-23 against Federer (relatively close contest) in the 50 matches they've played vs Andy Murray with a h2h 25–11 in 36 matches. I do wonder sometimes if there is still left over contention between Novak and Roger. Didn't feel like it at last year's Laver Cup. As someone who has always been a Federer fan (more so because of his style of play), there is no doubt that Novak is my GOAT in tennis and I'd pick him any day if I had to choose someone to play for my life lol.
