  1. Say what you want to say, but Lennox is the greatest HW boxer, he would beat Ali, Lennox is like a mix of Ali and Foreman, he was fast, his athletism, his punching power, especially that right cross, his ring IQ, and his underrated jabs. Ali's taunting wouldn't work on him and Ali surely didn't have that one punch KO to knock Lennox out cold. One of Ali's weaknesses was his defense, his speed was mainly his defense, he always fought with his hands down and use his speed to avoid punches, in his prime or not, Ali got caught several times by hooks, and Lennox would take advantage of that.

  2. Lewis always used his long arms to his advantage. He was able to keep most opponents at bay (especially Mike Tyson) with his jabs from a distance. Very impressive and definitely one of the best fighters

  3. My favourite boxer and I've seen them all from 1960 Cassius Clay victory in Rome Olympics till today's miserable state of boxing. During his career Lewis was dodged by many including Bowe and Tyson and became one of the few in the boxing history that won all his professional fights by straight victory or by rematch. He combined rarely seen intelligentsia with speed and power that make him quite unique. The only few that could match him were Vitaly Klitschko and possibly Teofilo Stevenson if he would become professional.

  4. I always say if you want to see how boxing can be favoured one of the boxers from judge to refs just look at the Lewis Tyson fight that ref shouldn't ever have ref another fight after that

  5. One of my most favourite boxers. Its just a shame the British press were so negative! Those of us involved in boxing knew just how good this man was. God bless him.

  6. Just look who Lenox destroyed! FK me he was so so good! All highly named fighters, no journey men in his fights! My God what a boxer

  7. The McCall strange behaviour was due to brain damage! As I myself know now! All to please those who have never put on gloves!

  8. Prayers and best wishes to all those who take up the gloves or bare knuckle. All to please those to afraid to take up the challenge.

  9. Correction sir, Tyson Fury is the last undisputed and lineal heavyweight champion….and yes, Lennox is one of my all-time favorites and easily one of the best to ever do it.

  10. Definitely one of the best champions ever..6'5..250..he can compete with anyone. I think Ali would of been way too fast for him though.

  11. Lennox is the greatest Heavyweight boxer to ever live! He is not one of the greatest. He is the greatest! Only heavyweight champion in history to unify all the belts. Not even Ali and Tyson or any heavyweights accomplished this achievement!

Lennox Lewis is a champion’s champion! 10/10 career! Long Live The Lion! 🦁

  12. Broke the mould. The only British Fighter to have over 20 fights in the USA most of them Title defences and never lose on American Soil. One of the greatest of all time. period!

  13. That Tyson beatdown was most satisfying. That cannibal animal and the icon of disrespectful anti-sportsmanship surely ate his…nuts, not kids.

  14. What a great boxer. The only shame is the ending. He should have given Klitschko, who was ahead in the last fight, another match. So the end is a disappointment.

  15. Bruno is more loved over here than, Lewis. Lennox fought as a Canadian at first, he took the short route although I'm definitely not denying how great he was.

  16. I would put Lewis right at the top with Ali and Frazier. He lacked the chin of these two but just kept getting better. Tyson in his prime would certainly be up there too.
Many would say there were better fighters before, like Marciano and Joe Louis, but fights were rigged by the Mafia back then. Yes, there were some very dubious decisions when Don King promoted fights in the modern era but it was generally less corrupt in the post Marciano era.
Jack Johnson after he got himself a trainer was probably the best heavyweight boxer of his time, he refused to be bought, and had to fight the racist authorities too.

  17. Boxing legend and greatest heavyweight ever. Such a pleasant and humble guy with a great attitude. All round top bloke.
