  1. I'm probably still in the honeymoon phase with Kevin O'Connell, but Kirk is a vet. Shouldn't he know by now what to do in these situations?

  2. There's no excuse for Kirk Cousins not taking over in that situation and calling a spike. The second he either couldn't hear the coach or there wasn't a clear play call, you know its first down and you have no timeouts with 30 seconds. it's way better to spike the ball and have three downs and run organized plays than run a haphazard chaotic play. That was embarrassing game management from Kirk Cousins. Every other inventor in quarterback I've ever seen in this situation like that immediately goes to spike the ball

It's bad enough that you have Kevin O'connell trying to call a play, but at least to some degree you can chalk that up to novice coaching.

  3. Florio's picks blow my mind (Miles' were fine).

So let me get this straight, the Patriots' 2 losses are to the Eagles, who are the #2 ranked team in the PFT power ranking and the Dolphins, who are the #3 ranked team in the power rankings and scored in excess of 45 more points against their next opponent than they did against the Pats. He completely ignores them in favor of the Vikings, Giants and no pick at all.

The Vikings are 0-3 and he is relying on them to beat the Chiefs. If you want to say the Pats are in a really hard division with 2 great teams, fine, but that's the exact same thing for the Giants, which he didn't hold against them. And its not like these teams have an elite QB or potential elite QB like you could say for a team like the Bengels or Jaguars.

Just come out and admit that you picked the Vikings because they are your personal rooting interest and the Giants because they are a NY team and you can't stomach both NY teams sucking this year.

  4. After teams that won double digit games last year with few changes so far, Colts and Texans with maybe improving QB play and unknown coaches, Colts have 2 wins but both teams would be keeping the Jaguars out of the playoffs. Bad teams without decent QB play last and this year will randomly turn it around at a very low rate, maybe 1 in 5. In the NFC you can pick 6 teams that will make the playoffs, 2 in East and West and division winners and 1 more, Vikings are the only team you might project to play better than the 4 2-win teams not among the 6 and I would take one of the 4 remaining teams over them.
