The comments about Rory I can understand as a competitive person. I agree what he says is o books 101 stuff and not intended to be anything more….I guess.
But then Wyndham comes with this stuff.
This is an example of how no matter how many mistakes Europe makes, the US will make more.
I do not think fatigue will come into play whatsoever for Europe, I think it’s been perfect prep really.
The US team is more sluggish arguably traveling to Europe a bit late. They also did another transatlantic trip recently.
Also the more things change the more they stay the same for the US team as far as their prep. Remember the US had changed its whole fed ex schedule in part to have Americans not have such a big break before the Ryder cup. But this latest change has them back to 5 weeks off, which in golf terms is significant; as these guys would not take more than a week or two off before a major.
But anyways what a rookie move Clarke is making. Imo.
This Clark character won 1 competition and suddenly thinks he's the GOAT.
What is the point of the Ryder Cup? USA versus a continent is pointless. Now LIV versus PGA Tour would actually mean something… an actual rivalry.
As an American, I wish Wyndham Clark would stop writing checks he might not be able to cash in regard to Rory. He’s won ONE very important tournament but he’s popping off like he’s been doing it for years. The other stuff about the Euros being overdone coming in, that’s fair game and just silly pregame banter.
