  1. I'm sure you know what you're doing but please take your time come back strong and healthy. Cant wait to see you compete again.

  2. Well I think you should do whatever you like but keep in mind that nothing worth more than health….you body wont get younger so, I think its not a shame if your body is tired, you pushed it to the limits before multiple times. The best thing about a successful sports career is that you can switch to coaching in any time, and you can make a living with that and in the mean time you can be safe. If you want to heal, keep it cool, I think you should do it, coach others in the mean time, and you will see. Dont let others push you into something that can harm you. training is good, but you dont have to prove anything for anyone, you proved yourself already many times…you are a legend, your name and you as a man is well known.

  3. Yes Thor you are still young enough to do it! Do it or regret it later, what a nice message you have

  4. Welcome back man I think strongman is where you belong If you had not quit I could have seen you tying or beating the 5 times. Not sure you would have but def massive potential for it imo.

  5. Glad to see ya back, gonna be amazing seeing you compete with all the other great strongmen out there

  6. I am so glad to see this you have always been epic but I am looking forward to you competing against the likes of Tom or Mitch. I still think you will win

  7. Eddie Hall should have never beat you at stronman. im so glad you beat his deadlift and beat his ass.

  8. Thor are you planning on getting back to your World Breaker Thor shape that you achieved in 2019/2020, and are you coming for the Strongest Man On Earth title? I sure hope so. The sheer size and strength that you achieved in 2019/2020 I always said is probably the strongest person that ever walked the Earth. This is gonna be awesome!!!

  9. Good luck i wish you all the best and to win competition. My only question is because you lose a lot weight is that will be good or bad for you in strenght test's? #1MOUNTAIN#1STRONGMAN

  10. So awesome!! I always thought you left too soon and you haven’t been out for too long to still do some great things!

  11. Good Luck hafthor. Take your time.. Just enjoy yourself… don’t take too much pressure of new goals. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. You are already a world champ!

  12. I think this will be good for you. Strongman will definitely be a conditioner for your total body. Also it’s what you love so, get to it buddy!

  13. I have so much respect for those who are passionate about something and truly dedicate to it. Those who try something and don't give up just because of a temporary set back. Hafthor is the epitome of that. Realizing he won't be able to do Strongman forever so he picks that dream back up from where he left off. So he can be happy with living his life the way he wanted. Seeing others with this dedication and drive inspires me all the time. Absolute respect for you, Hafthor, and all those with the same drive to make their dreams reality.

  14. The feeling of being strong and the poundages confirming this is one of the greatest feelings of invincibility and power so I get it. Good luck!!

  15. Great to hear Hafthor. You surely have nothing to proof and can do it completely on your own terms which is exactely what you should do, in my opinion. Looking forward to see you in Strongman, Fullsterkur. It's Grettir, it's Egil and it's you! Take care!!!💪💪💪💪💪

  16. Good choice, Thats all you need is to rip the hell out of that torn pec again. If I were you i'd stop all that crap and be a trainer

  17. Love this 💪 i cant wait to see the training and eating videos and to see you progress! Great News! You are a Warrior!!!

  18. probably thor can never bench max out in his life anymore so the powerlifting record is not possible anymore. and maybe in addition he doesnt enjoy it as muc has strogman, which he of course loves most. and in strongman he does no need his chest as much or do some crazy max lifts. probably better for him as long as he doenst bulk up to 200kg again… for his family and health he should retire or at least not push to those limits anymore as before. But he has goals, so you cannot stop him

  19. Great news. Now the only other thing I want to hear Thor is you will go and crush the 505kg DEADLIFT since u are the only one who can

  20. Welcome back, Boss! You’re not done being at the top of the strongman game. You’ll regain your crown before you know it!

  21. Good for you Thor – sod powerlifting. Strongman is the greatest sport full of the greatest guys 💪🏻💪🏻

  22. Brother do what you love. You don't have to be on top all the time especially since you are in a recovery stage. But I know you will want to bear down and do your best every time. Take it one lift at a time. What events most excite you???? I am 52 and will have my first Masters Strongman Comp in October.

  23. I’m glad to hear this news, I wish you hadn’t stepped away, I thought you could have been the guy to go for the 5 titles

  24. This is great news. Strongman will be stacked. Looking forward to some great battles.

  25. Congrats, I bet you could have broken the all time record though. Edit: It seems like you still want to do it, the strategy makes sense 👍
