   What's up with Bobbies audio, second episode in a row it stutters like crazy. I've watched the recordings, not sure if it's the same live. I also hear an echo of the speaker, someones mic is picking it up. It's not Wally cause I hear Wally's echo. I hear Yorkie's echo too… process of elimination.

    There's vitriol towards alex dabrincat from fans because he didn't want to play here. That's it. Doesn't matter if he made it clear from the start. Fans are allowed to be upset at him for it.

    I was 6 when 9/11 happened. I can't recall where I was or what I was doing at that moment. I'm happy to see McKenna back on the show. I always appreciate his takes and perspective. He also doesn't mind ruffling feathers of NHL team fanbases.

    Thing with debricnat was he kept moving the goalposts. Oh I don't wanna sign yet. I wanna wait till the off season. I wanna wait until new ownership. I like the city but not the country I like the team but I wanna go to Detroit. I'm gonna tie the teams hands saying g I won't resign with any team except these few for x much. Fans loved him but he underperformed and kept saying he liked the place then dipped screwing the team over. Good guy I'm sure but he's not a sen anymore and fans are gonna boo

    Wally, what do you mean you don’t get why fans are hating on him? The guy doesn’t want to play for us. Of course we’re gonna hate on him. That’s our right as fans. I’ll forgive him over time. But I’m gonna boo the fuck out of that dude for his first year in Detroit.

    It’s not cuz he did or didn’t do something “wrong”. Fact: He doesn’t want to be here. Are we supposed to love someone who doesn’t wanna be a part of our team?

    The sting with the debrincat situation for me is that he essentially handcuffed us to ship him out to detroit, had he provided options for the sens we could have gotten a more worthy return in my eyes but yzerman and dorion both knew alex had already made up his mind giving us essentially no leverage in negotiations. To me it just seems like a dirty way to negotiate a move imo.

    honestly, I don't feel like many Sens fans have vitriol towards Cat. I think most of us get it. That said I am really excited for that first Detroit visit in October. I just feel like most of the bitterness about it seems to stem from a certain local journalist.

    Debrincat: It's wrong that he didn't want to be in Ottawa, it's understandable that he didn't want to stay. After he moved to Ottawa, everyone was talking about how many points he could score with Timmy or maybe with Josh. He was very optimistic. What happened then. He could never play with Timmy because Timmy still needed protection from Brady. Josh was injured after a few games and the two didn't play together. He also initially had a really bad hit rate. He was given the opportunity to play on the first power play, which I think was a mistake, but he still didn't really have the opportunity to reach his full potential with the best center at any point. The only consequence could be a team change, which from his point of view is completely understandable.

    It kind of baffles me that its a mystery to anybody as to why some are annoyed at DeBrincat. "He didn't do anything wrong". What does that even mean? We're not HR Managers. We're not here to drive anybody to their hometown. We're fans, and the fact that fandom is kind of irrational is baked in. He didn't want to be part of our team. Of course some are going to be disappointed, be irritated. How is that not intuitive to people who work adjacent to professional sports?

    Listen Wally . Cause we’re passionate fan base that’s why we get mad ! I felt disrespected when Debrincat left . To me it means it never wanted to play here in the first place and To me it’s a spit in the face . But people are different I’m just saying on my behalf . Ottawa is a great beautiful place to be so why don’t u wanna stay here? Even with the talent we have ? Either way that’s why some of us get angry 😡. Go sens go leafs suck !!!

    Jesus york, you should at least know a few things about the team. One podcast you didn’t know how much cap space they had, you don’t know which way all the players shoot, norris doesnt make $7m, who’s on PowerPlay 2…..youre so bad

    DeBrincat was an idiot move by Dorion and I said that on day 1. I am grateful that the midget is gone. There was no void to be filled because Norris is back. Tarasenko is another idiot move. Should have locked up Pinto and added some good quality depth. Dorion has pissed away assets to cover up most of his mistakes but there's still Joseph. Maybe Dorion pisses away Pinto so as not to shine a spotlight on that stupid Joseph contract.

    I think that with a competent coach a playoff spot is a lock unless Korpisalo craps the bed or Smith is coach.

    All this nonsense about they have to win – need to avoid a slow start – blah blah blah – same crap every year. What they need is a friggin coach and a GM that is not a self consumed moron. This new owner doesn't need to wait and see. If he's spending that kind of money and he knows hockey because he's played then he should have already sussed all of this out. Plus I'd be very surprised if he doesn't have good hockey people analyzing the situation as well. The absolute first thing that he needs to do when he finally gets to be officially owner is thank Dorion and Smith for their services and show them the door. If he doesn't then this franchise is screwed again for another year.

    There really shouldn't be any hate . Debrincat is a great player..But we didn't t have money for another 8mil forward..
