  1. Really hope you play Ardee golf club. It's less than half an hour north of Sea point. It's a parkland course and I spent most of my early days playing there love it.

  2. Going to say it early. The Irish hidden gems will be the best yet….Ps stu has been done like a kipper

  3. Cracking course, I played it earlier this year on a trip to the Emerald Isle. Front 9 lulls you in as shielded from the sea, but the holes along the shoreline are next level.

  4. It's like watching The Wizard of Oz as Scarecrow Lion and the Tin Man follow the yellow brick road.
I will let you decide who is who 😂

  5. Lovely video again team Golf Mates. Stu I don't think you were stiched by L & S but I'd be having words with Eddie in the pro shop about checking indexes on the more picturesque (?) holes. How on earth is that par three rated 17?

  6. Stu your not having the luck of the Irish with no shots on holes . Been done . Love the hidden gems great job to all of you

  7. What a little beauty that course is, the greens are far from easy. Poor old Roy got a touch of the Guiness palsy.

  8. Keep the hidden gems series going for as long as possible lads. Love it. Well played Liam. Some excellent golf there, with a little bit of luck that we all need from time to time.

  9. Try The Island sometime…. its brilliant. Go to Wales – play Aberdovey. Scotland? – Western Gailes. England – Hillside.

  10. Mr. Barlow granting Stu a gimme 'under protest', LOL. Love all the back and forth banter between you all.

  11. Great course, played it many times, nice to see the bar has reopened, it was shut for ages.

  12. Gems is the best series on YouTube. Always fantastic courses, great banter and good golf. Great to see Roy back on the channel. Re holes played, I think there should be at least 1 out of 6vwhere Roy gets a shot so he has a reasonable chance of getting a 3 pointer.

  13. Cracking edition of hidden gems again lads, well done. Steve has about as much touch and feel as 80 grit sandpaper after a night on the pints 😂. By any chance is episode 3 at Headfort golf club?

  14. At last the complaining has been taken away from Mr. B. Welcome to your new role Stuart! Loved the banter, great golf and an insight on why you do these "Hidden Gems" (Tony's Bar)

  15. LIAM PETE STEVE. OK have you tried this and golf mates IN A 3 BALL , EVERY 3 HOLES 2 V 1 THEN CHANGE 2 V 1 AND CHANGE 2 V 1. NOW TEAM OF 2 IS BEST BALL AND CHUCK IN FOR TEAM OF 2 ONE BACK TO THE FUTURE SINGLE PLAYER HAS 2 BACK TO THE FUTURES , now you can not argue because it swaps OR PLAY ONE EACH PER TEAM BACKTOTHEFUTURE BUT SIÑGLE PLAYER HAS A PRO IN OTHER WORDS if single player does not get 2 pts then pro scores 2 pts but team of 2 must score or pick up. These are usually played for fun in winter .
    Liam you asked for ideas.

One other WORST SCORE TO COUNT so from tee you take worst players ball every time in a pair or team .

  16. Absolutely love hidden gems. Stunning courses. Could easily watch a 9 hole match 😉

  17. Okay I am a rabid viewer a real golf mate but please please stop the "takeaway" putting stuff. You guys need to be better putters. And you won't get there by "take that away" for three footers. I hope after Ireland you will consider The Isle of Wight next. Thanks for being a refuge in this stormy world.
