I think youre putting way too much blame on the colts. Reports came out he was asking for 16 mill a year. And who the hell is gonna pay him that lol? Even CMC isnt making that and he offers more than JT does. the nfl just doesnt value rbs anymore since they can be replaced and save money that can be better allocated to other positions on the team. Jt's agent is the real problem hes been causing alot of problems between JT and the colts. Plus….he had one great year and had surgery on an ankle and is going to be going into a new offense. Why would the colts pay him what he wants with all those variables against him? They obviously want him to prove himself while still on his rookie contract and then pay him better than what any other team would anyways. No one is giving up assets and giving him a big contract its just not gonna happen. Irsay also does pay his players idk where this narrative came from

You flamed Jalen Hurts deal but are praising Justin Herbert’s deal? He is all stats with not much to show for it. It’s the same dilemma as Dak. It’s pretty obvious that Sean Payton’s probably correct in everything he said, but that fact that he said this publicly about another coach in the nfl really rubs me the wrong way. He should now more than anyone how tough being a head coach can be, and to just go out of your way to bash another coach who didn’t do the best job for seemingly no reason is a really bad look. Makes Payton look needlessly cruel, which I guess he is.
