  1. Great discussion on the doubleheader in Washington. We salvaged a split today which means we win the series!!
Winans did a good job and kept score close but our offense was unable to get going.
I like Wright coming out of bullpen . He isn’t quite ready for starting yet but can help from bullpen.
Second game, Strider was very good striking out 4 and going 5.2 innings. Nats are a team that is extremely difficult to strike out and have shown that all year.
That said, we managed 8 runs in game 2 with HR by Wall (1st in MLB career), Pillar. Plus timely hits by others to help get the win!
Acuna did not okay in game two: good move by Snit.
3 game series with Cubs starts Tuesday at Truist!!
Today was first series win since clenching Division.
Going into NLDS limping but this team is resilient!!!

  2. in the end, i think the Braves will lose the best NL record to the Dodgers, who have the Rockies and Giants in their last series

  3. We have to stop with the Strider excuses. Good contact teams just sit on his fastball and get hit after hit and then run into a bomb. At some point it's a trend and we should be concerned

  4. I think Morton being put on the IL is a REALLY bad sign. Not just for the Obvious reason of making almost half of the games a gimme for the other team unless the offense absolutely steamrolls them, but I think its likely he's not fully available for the NLCS either. Putting him on the IL means they must think there's a near 0% chance he's available in case of emergency in a potential game 5. So he's probably unlikely to be available for at least the first couple games of the NLCS either.

  5. Pitching will be the downfall unfortunately…..
    Good statistical season nevertheless…

    H~

  6. It is a bad time for Morton to be on IL For sure Fried and Strider will be one and two if Elder pitch in relieve and did good they might started a game We might have to use like someone like Winans But we have tp wait and see
