Magic Mike is right. If u look at all the results tonite , international football is an up an down game. Hopefully our boys can turn things around . There a great bunch a lads. It's all about September now and I reckon Mikey will be front an centre to that.

It wasn't the result that was bad on Friday it was the performance. Greece lost 1-0 playing away to one of the worlds best teams last night, so they're a decent side.
Losing 2-1 away to a decent side isn't a "bad" result, it's disappointing, even though we would have hoped to get something out of it.
We're in probably the toughest group, with France, Holland and Greece are a useful team, so qualifying was and is going to be a tough ask with a young squad who aren't playing at the highest level.
One thing I found disappointing last night was that we don't seem to be able to play a high press against a weak team.
It's no use one or two players chasing down while the rest stand looking at them.
Seems like a nice lad and a great addition to our squad. 🇮🇪
What a player / the impact he made off the bench was immense . Always looking forward and ultimately not afraid to run at his man which is something we’ve lacked for quite a while.
Hoping he can stay fit / sounds like from how he’s speaking those injuries are behind him touch wood . Looking forward to seeing more of the lad 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

I think Mikey would of eventually got into the Scotland team but fair play he personally wasn’t prepared to wait and chose to play for Ireland! Huge Talent and a loss to Scotland and a gain to Ireland!

Cannie believe Scotland allowed Mikey to slip through the net.. He’s been one of my favourite young Players since he first broke into the Celtic first Team. He gets fans of their seats and you always expect things to happen when he gets the Ball.. Love the wee guy
