  1. And it’s not like you had a terrible golf swing, the high level instruction it’s taking for you to make that progress, illustrates why so many golfers try all the different methods available on YouTube that you’ve experimented with. Can’t wait till you can get on the course with this

  2. I had a similar experience at Golftec. 50 plus years playing golf and to see some truly awful positions in my swing were eye opening. I have had many lessons over the years and was taught things that hurt my back and at times physically impossible for me to do. I am on track to playing well. I have added 20-30 yards with my driver and 10-15 yards with my irons. Well worth money invested.

  3. I've held off having Golf tech look at my swing, but if I was younger and had a good back I'd probably try it, but at this stage (62) full right shoulder replacement and back surgery I'm just glad to still be able to hit. Way to go Chad, at least I can learn through you….how come I can't hit a 5 iron? 6-wedges hardly an issue but the 3,4,5 no ideas

  4. This seems like you’re trying too hard to put your body in positions and very unnatural. Too much focused on body positions. Like Shawn Clement said anytime someone tries to put you in body positions, run.

  5. Thanks for all the support! For those that want to support the channel further, a Super Thanks is always welcome.

  6. You said some key things in this video that some don’t think about. That is we have FT jobs, kids and other family related responsibilities going on while we’re trying to get better. You talked about being tired and sore. I’m 60 years old now and I totally agree with you. Why do we put ourselves through this mess just to get better at this crazy game?!? It’s called passion and being competitive. I feel it keeps us young as well. Keep grinding you’re doing great. IMO set some goals for yourself like tournament play in the future. You got this man. Stay positive!

  7. I Stopped turning my Hips in the backswing Like She taught You and oh my God the Power in my Irons and Driver Jumped Dramaticly.

  8. Only way I come close in downswing is to keep trail elbow glued to trail side until after impact and basically make the lead side of the body bring the trail arm through

  9. I’m going into my 6th week at GolfTec and we’re still working on me getting my but down and trying to trail hip over the ball. It not easy go from an upper body dominant swing to a lower body dominant swing. At time I feel I’m too old at 63 to learn a swing like this, but I keep trying. You’re looking good.

  10. Thank you for all the amazing content. I was wondering if you have checked out easiest swing? If so I wondered what your thoughts on it is.

  11. Having the right person guide you and being able to see it on video are enormous advantages. Exaggerated drills are the best when making changes to any movement. Enjoying your journey. Keep at it. Cheers

  12. Really great effort buddy. We do appreciate you contorting your aged frame into uncomfortable positions, for our entertainement. 😀😀

  13. Call me old fashioned coz I am – but I know this is not the completed course but there seems to be no looseness or fluidity in the swing.
The modern swing is the one that leads to injuries – hence maybe the stiffness you have been getting.
I hope it works for you on the course but I am sticking to old fashioned.

  14. Let us know when you start to venture into a camera system to record your swing at home in your sim!

  15. hey, keep up the great content. Looks like you have a great future as a body contortionist 😂.

Seriously though.. exaggerated moves like Tiger is doing around the 6:30 mark of the video link below seems like it would be helpful to you… I don’t see his arms and hands doing some of the weird stuff she is doing though to get your swing positions adjusted. Maybe just try what Tiger is doing and see the results … He makes it look so damn easy, just a thought.

  16. What a change already! Wow! Great work! Can't wait for more on course playing with this swing. Keep it up!

  17. Things are still looking way better but the comments I have are very similar to last week. The only reason that you need to push the club through like that and lead with the handle so much is because the clubhead is still moving too inside and too low in the early stages and then the clubhead can't catch up with the hands as they start to move around the body on the lead side, because they are too far behind. If you're using something like the Kawaswing, Ballard's figure 8 drill or many other drills or methods, you won't have to fight to keep the handle ahead into impact so much because the clubhead will be in a better position to relate properly with the downswing hand path.

Other than that, things are looking so much better. This video by Cogorno "The EASIEST And FASTEST Way To Shallow The Golf Club" for example is very good example of what you should be looking for in your takeaway motion while keeping the other changes that you've made. So instead of pushing the clubhead back ahead of your hands in the early backswing, you should keep it a little more level with your hands and have it go somewhat higher and wider on the way up which give room for it fall behind the hands (hand path) coming down. An easy way to think of this is just keeping the club more in line with your lead arm in the early swing and have your wrist motion be almost entirely just cocking upwards which keeps the clubhead higher and wider going back. Cheers.

  18. Let me say from the start. I get it…. Your channel name/title is spot on.

Bravery is subjective and varied depending on situations.

That said, being able to deconstruct your swing is brave. Doing it for everyone to view is another level.

Regardless of your results, the journey is interesting and appreciated.

I have thought of a concept for a video that dives into the mental aspect.

Why "we" weekend/part-time golfers stay stagnant in growth.

Inability to embarrass or allow for uncomfortable situations in "our" swing is paramount.

My approach is to build around tendencies and use a few factors.

    1.Alignment
    2. Proper Balance/Weight Transfer
    3.Square club.
    4.Weight Transfer
    5. Follow Through.

    Your videos are great.

    Enjoy your journey!

  19. Interesting that on the one hand you have Jim Venetos teaching very little movement, and Golftec teaching so much more movement. Just shows that there is no one correct way to swing the club. What hope is there for an ordinary golfer trying to find one thing that just works?

  20. Love your channel and please don’t take this the wrong way but Good luck with all the positions, it won’t work for the long haul and you’ll eventually get hurt and also on uneven lies your going to have a tough time. Old school Shaun Clement is the best or Larry Rinker!

  21. First I want to say Golf Tec has a much better mat to hit off of then at my last fitting session had. Second I think it would be wise not to review anymore swing systems by other golf instructors.

  22. Love your videos. Wondering if one day you’d have a go with Easiest Swing by Brian and Phillip Sparks.

  23. I'm not sure what Manuel de la Torre would think about all this technical manipulation stuff
