  1. People are over reacting. Yes, it was a bad game but every player and bad coaching. Yes, I would have loved for them to beat those pesky Packer. BUT, I'd rather us have which I hope is one of our worse games early in the season so we have opportunity to correct things. I think Bears will make adjustments and Fields will have a better scheme for him. Honestly, its the defense I'm more concerned about than the offense. We can't win giving up 30+ points. That puts too much pressure on the offense.

  2. Fields is the best talent at QB the bears has ever had. McMahon might have if injuries didn't shorten his career in Chicago. This team is rebuilding and putting these super high expectations on them now y'all will destroy the team before Poles can add the talent across the team. Poles 2023 draft was truly his first after Pace ruined cap space & draft picks. I hope Poles is smart and don't listen to the noise and allow this teams to mature around fields. Year 3 for Fields is more like year 1&and a half because of what Nagy did! If Getsy's scheme is as complex as they say Fields needs time to really come to grips with it. Enough said, my opinion

  3. Culture, should have asked about Deshaun Watson. The Bears knew about his past n college. Carter is an Alpha, Locker room has no one that could control him. Claypool is a Cancer, emotional water sign. He needs to feels included.

  4. I kept telling ppl draft carter poles let certain prodcasters get into his ear an made him scared you let them do your job which the reason you are general manager is to make pro scout decisions whether we like them as fans or not

  5. Josh Lucas remains in denial………………Justin Fumbles is a bust. Ryan Pace was perfect at one thing, selecting terrible QB's thru both the draft and FA.

  6. Sorry he's wrong about Patrick. Chicago is the place where Q.B.s and W.R.'s come to die

  7. I truly believe that Alan Williams has been fired, he hasn’t been at Halas Hall the last few days plus not going to Tampa with Flus calling plays…Alan let our defense allow over 30+ points, he’s gone 95%

  8. Did he just say Justin is not there guy/QB??? After everyone they brought in for Field’s, he doesn’t think the coaches don’t believe in him? Bullshit all because of 1 game? If we would’ve won, everyone would be thinking different, period…..

  9. Can you imagine Patrick Mahomes on the 2018 Chicago Bears with the defense we had. We would have won a Superbowl.

  10. Damn, best interview ever…I was hoping they draft Watson in 2017…And I couldn’t believe the 49ers took Lance 2021…but it all worked out.

  11. B S Fields is taking the blame for the catastrophe that happened against Green Bay . Everyone in that stadium could see that " NO ONE " on the Bears was ready to play that game . And isn't it the coaches job to make sure that the TEAM is ready to play especially against Green Bay ?

  12. Yeah, yeah, yeah, heard all of these same things all of last year. Fields isn't pulling the trigger but he'll get better!, the o-line is just fine! Really! (laugh til you cry on that one) and there's no pass rush.

The take on Claypool made me want to puke. Bench him for the Bucs game and if he doesn't perform in the KC game, cut your losses. Someone who pouts and refuses to give an effort because he's not getting the targets he thinks he deserves…you don't need that on your team.

  13. Joe Montana wasn't good his first few years but then Bill Walsh came on the scene. Coaching matters. Steve Young said only a few teams know how to handle QB's.

  14. Justin may have lost a lot of confidence in the last game versus the Lions. He seemed defeated. Maybe it carried over but what we saw Sunday was not the QB slinging it against Miami, Minn, Philly, Buffalo. They lost those but we saw a lot exciting plays and not just him running.

  15. Amazing interview. This is one of the first times I’ve heard a Bears exec really give his true feelings on what fans have all been wondering these last 5 or so years

  16. The bears can’t even hire the right front Office guys to evaluate talent….Nothing said Mitch wasn’t the riskiest pick, everything said Watson was the safest pick, Mahomes was even safer than Mitch, it’s unbelievable how these guys get paid top dollar to make the dumbest decisions, the casual fan could see Mitch was a bum

  17. I am going to say really obvious honest stuff that no talk shows hosts and Chicago shows want to say. Has anyone ever thought it was just rust? Justin had under 150 yards in 3 games to start off 2022. Everyone complained he does not get through reads fast enough to the checkdowns…..well now he hits the checkdowns and you people complain. The 20+ yard plays will come again people with combination of the checkdowns.

Sorry you cannot have it both ways. Do not complain when you bully him on not taking easy completions. What I do see is a guy that worked on his pocket prescecne and knows where his outlet is. Now he knows he can do it so it is time to let it loose.

But I see people online say he has not improved at all. Guys stop overreating he threw 216 yards, 64% completion percentage and threw for 12 first downs. Just wait for gods sake. He got better as 2021 and 2022 went on.

  18. So Mahomes was to much of an issue due to the likelihood of him not being proven or playing against high quality football players and understandingthat Trey Lance didn't play enough games, but Trubisky was less of an wild horse. Im not understanding thatlogic what so ever.

  19. Mahomes was definitely a risk. We might’ve fucked up the QB carousel that we have going 🤣

  20. JF needs 21 more games to see if he can read coverage schemes. Some people improve, some don’t. The absolute in all this is Bears fans don’t know how to judge a developing QB. They are emotional & impatient.

  21. It’s just one game; clam down. Remember last year’s start looking very similar to this. But, after a few weeks adjustment were made and improvements were made in the running game. There are a lot of new players and unfortunately new takes time to become familiar in the aspect of when, where and how to use all of these players in a productive manner. I know it’s been a long wait, but patience is key; give it six or seven weeks to gel. No one thought that this team was going to the Super Bowl this year. Seven to ten wins with Fields and the passing game doing what the running game did last year would be a huge step in the right direction.

  22. Who did he help develop in the last 10 years of the dumpster fire that is the bears.
Because they haven’t developed anyone in the last 10 years… bring on tressman lol WTF are you thinking?
Why does every Chicago team see crap and think it’s a championship title lol FFS

  23. I appreciate his honesty and owning up to a huge mistake, but I just can't wrap my head around picking a QB that high in the draft with the philosophy of playing it safe and taking the guy with the lowest ceiling. And then the same group was allowed to pick a 2nd QB which has major short comings in his passing game.

  24. You you please not feature guests who speak with an overload of phlegm in their throats?
    Thank you, you're welcome.
