The nfl for all of its posturing is after all a business that takes its product very seriously. They are not going to take someone like ck and make some clown show out of a declining player. He’s not that good and they know that.

Kap had one very good year and part of another, mainly because defensive coordinators didn’t have a book on him. Once they took away the running threat and made him win by passing, he couldn’t perform. The guy had a great arm, but he had absolutely no touch and had no ability to read defenses and go through his progressions. If the primary route was covered, he got happy feet and wanted to run. He would throw a five yard dump off with the s@me power as a 40 yard pass. Bringing in Kurt Warner to try to teach him better fundamentals was a failure. He has a guaranteed contract with the Niners, but he opted out of it, figuring he could get a better payday elsewhere. He didn’t. Why? Because his ability did not outweigh the cost in bad publicity for a team signing him. If he had Brady, Montana or Mahomes talent, teams would have gladly signed him. But, just like Ray Rice losing a step meant he couldn’t get a gig after his punching incident, Kap being, at best, a mediocre backup, was not going to get signed.
Plus, dude’s an asshole. He effectively said that the people who adopted him, nurtured him and helped him through his early life were racists. Only a complete douche does that.
He wasn’t elite the 1st time around. It would seem no team wants to deal with his nonsense, & circus grift, especially since his play was mediocre.
He had opportunities but decided to play the victim.

More college QB draftees have washed out of the NFL than have stayed in the league during the years he’s been running around crying foul. He’s been gone the length of many players careers!
