  1. MyGolfSpy drone on about these (v2) balls being "Too spinny" off the tee and terrible in high wind. Be good if you could see the spin numbers in the studio 👍👍 Edit: just seen you took them in at the end, interesting! great video James

  2. V2 currently sold out online at Costco online uk. Just picked up 3 boxes from Costco in Liverpool. Not many on display so maybe phasing them out.

  3. I wouldn't use Kirkland balls, even if someone handed me a dozen for free, Kirkland balls are known to have the core, off center

  4. My problem with the older versions was they would scuff and tear after just a few holes…until they fix the weak cover they are not even worth the cheaper price since it takes 3 or 4 balls just to complete a round.

  5. James, I am a mid-handicapper and play the Kirkland as my gamer (TM Tour Response when I want to splurge). Testing the V2 and V3 on the course and with my Bushnell Launch Pro in the sim, I notice a slight drop in spin rates. The V3 also feels just slightly more firm, but still has a great feel. I am getting more run out with my driver and plenty of stopping power on the greens. It seems to be a perfect compliment for my game and a small, but welcomed, improvement over the V2. I have played about 15 rounds with the V3 to date. Thanks for the reviews and content!

  6. Costco balls consistently fly 10 yards short of Pro V1 for my irons. I play traditional lofted 718 AP2 Titleist forged irons, and naturally I fade the ball about 5 yards.

I also notice putts coming up very noticeably short when using Kirkland when compared to Pro V1.

Overall, this golf ball is a great entry level option for feel, but does not compete in my opinion with PRO V1, that's just my .02c as a single digit handicap.
