The Golden State Warriors Got The STEAL Of The Century

Former NBA Players & Coaches are RAVING About TJD and what he’s capable of doing on the court. He was an absolute steal and most definitely a lottery pick talent!

  1. Thanks Swish for believing in these young men. Our Belief will help them believe in themselves. Together, we will manifest a reality, where they are stars in their roles. I Believe in Trayce Jackson Davis! He will ball out and create happy moments for all GS fans.

  2. hes not going to get a chance regardless of how good or bad he is. Kerr wont play him. the only way he gets significant minutes is if something terribly goes wrong like looney or draymond going down. maybe he might be our Brock Purdy. most likely not tho…

  3. I gotta say I wish we'd grabbed Whitmore over Podz… But I'm glad we snagged TJD. Looks like an immediate 2way impact player for the 2nd unit, especially running with CP3.

  4. TJD is needed to give Loon a break. Loon needs less minutes. He might work well with CP3 too. He fits the system except the spacing. So, he could be Loon 2.0 in maybe 3 years which will be huge but the Dubs still need a legitimate big for the ADs of the League. Very excited for him.

  5. all of the above but also his hands are big enough that he won't fumble entry passes🤣

  6. Making wonderful observations is a amazing talent you possess. You are growing at a awesome rate. Your ready for prime time.

  7. Stop stop! I'm tired of all this talk about steal. He has played two games I hope he does but reality Stop! I've heard this with McCaw, Bell, Pascal, Baldwin, Rollins, sure someone is going to say but, what but! Can we wait until they play!

  8. I don't think he's going to shine as instantly as some people seem to think. All that shot blocking and dunking was against smaller, slower players than he will face in the league. He and the team should keep their expectations and his role in check in his first season. Offensively he's going to need a midrange jumper and the ability to finish with both hands, currently he really only finishes with his left.
give him spot minutes where it makes sense and try and get him in the pick and roll with CP3 to maximise his impact in the few minutes he will get.

  9. The warriors don't need another 3 point shooter what the warriors need is a player like TJD's dad Dale Davis was an enforcer that protected Reggie Miller that rebounds and defends basically they need a faster Kevin looney

  10. Reminds me a bit of Jordan Bell, but i have hopes for him seems like he can be an athletic looney. Maybe cp3 can further enhance his game and boost his impact immediately.

  11. He’s not better than Boucher and we let him go for nothing and the Raptors scooped him up.
He looks like another Jordan bell, it doesn’t matter what he does against a small ball lineup of 22yr olds, what is he going to do against JOKIC AD ZUBAC JJJ STEVEN ADAMS AYTON etc? He’s not even better than Kuminga tbh and we rarely play him!! We need to chill and demand a real big man, we are gonna run Loondawg into the ground and regret it!

  12. This is very good statement by the front office to alter the usual within the dubs identity. We need a steady captain of our second unit, we got CP3 and our lack of body ability to rebound due to size are now being supplied by TJD and Saric. The 23-24 season will be so exciting, hoping that everyone will stay healthy.

  13. A defensive playmaking big…all he needs is a big mouth and he'll be like that other dude that plays for the dubs…also podz played much better when he stepped on the court…familiarity I guess

  14. As a Hoosiers fan who has watched a lot of TJD, you absolutely got a steal of a pick.

I was so frustrated last year when he came back for his senior year and wasn’t taking any threes. I figured that was the only reason he came back was to at least develop a corner 3 so he was NBA ready.

Obviously I’m not in practices, but there’s no evidence he can’t make threes! He has a pure looking shot. I felt like Mike Woodson was holding him and IU back, because the only way we make a run last year is if he could stand in the corner for 10 minutes a game and still be a threat.

Hope he dominates at Golden State.
