The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. 1. this is what happens when you're up 6-5 and hit 2 doubles in a row, big tension release which usually ends up hitting the fence, but in this case it worked out great and he won the set too 🙂

  2. So much Shelton, I know he is American, and US Open is in America, but someone is promoting his for sure

  3. Insane shot to try at that point in the match! Shame Nick lester was commenting, he's the most depressing commentator of all times. They should have been screaming in disbelief!

  4. I thought 💭 this game would be more competitive seems one ☝️ had the juice 🥤 an the other was on low battery charge his next match surely going to need Superman strength an just dialing in won’t be Enough he truly has to make magic an take a rabbit 🐇 out of the hat 🎩

  5. Un retour de service gros risque. Ca me rappelle le style du neerlandais Edwin Kempes contre Sebastien Grosjean en coupe Davis 2002. France-Pays Bas

  6. shades of Novak 2011 US Open Semi-Final vs Roger right here…. Ben has the slap ❤

  7. These 80mph 2nd serves kept on getting punished, but players kept on doing it. I like how Nick Kygrios only do 1st serve.

  8. Big serve big forehand and now a bit of attitude. Let's go American tennis!!

  9. This point right here shows why Ben is better than Frances. More willing to take risks, more confident, better shot placement 🥲

  10. Ben had just double faulted not once but twice, and then for him to go for this shot and nail it is one of the most incredible moments I have ever witnessed in a major, and I've been watching them all of my life. Unbelievable!!!
