How to Charge an Electric Bike

Electric bikes are powered by a rechargeable battery, and it’s important to know how to properly charge the battery to ensure a long lifespan and optimal performance. In this video, we go over the steps for charging an electric bike battery, and also discuss some tips for maintaining the battery, such as avoiding overcharging and storing the bike in a cool, dry place. Whether you’re new to e-bikes or a seasoned rider, this video will provide valuable information on how to keep your e-bike battery charged and ready to go.

Note- Please follow your bikes instructions about plugging the charger into a power source. This is usually a wall outlet. If you use an extension cord to charge it, be sure to use an amperage rated extension cord with a 3 prong plug adequate for the task.

  1. Okay so im abke to charge the battery when the batteries switch is set to off.

However it can also be charged when the switch is set to on.

But km wondering which is the best way to charge.

I also read online that even the though the battery can be charged when the switch is set to OFF. the BMS most likely turns it on when charging.
