The whole SEC seemingly had a hangover after week one excitement.
Totally agree on the pace of the game being way to slow. Maybe in the 4th quarter we slow it down and run some clock but other than that tho let's play with some urgency.
Bad drops and penalties hurt them early. But Leary just like last week flipped a switch and showed out. He just has to be more consistent and wide receivers need to catch the balls.
Matt Jones is terrible man. He is just the entire reason for sooo much negativity around UK sports all around. Have a sense of perspective the offense will be fine.
We play way way too slow I said this out loud many times yesterday. Slow pace football doesn't win in 2023. We have to get alot better.
The pace has to do with the level of competition! You don't show all your weapons and plays before your important games allowing the sec teams to prepare for the things that work very well for you. Also we have great recievers but they are still just sophomores. This team will definitely be better. My issue is with all the penalties that are committed on both sides of the ball but especially on defense. Does not look like a stoops and white defense at this point in the season. Just one more tune up game before we start conference play. Cats better tighten that stuff up now! #BIGBLUENATION 💪

Oh, I get it. Hmmmm. Even if stoops doesn’t have control, his fingerprints are affecting the offense. I love coach stoops, but this is typical of a defensive head coach. One who has not had great quarterback play. Again that is typical of a defensive head football coach.
This is not a run team I knew that before the season started. We are not going to have those navy offenses that run all over the place. It’s balanced now. The faster the coaches figure out we are average on the ground, the better we will be for it. This is a rhythm quarterback, if I ever saw one.

UK don't want anything to do with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers who now play in Conference USA and is more talented than Eastern.. UK played Western Kentucky 5 straight years from 2008 to 2013 and UK lost the last two games to Western….. UK fans should root for a pretty good competitive Western Kentucky team that will play #5 ranked Ohio State in Columbus this coming Saturday at 3 PM on FOX
