  1. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 RESPECT TO THIS BASEBALL LEGEND, Babe RUTH!
Thanks for your successful find and for sharing it.

  2. All I can see is the kid standing right there in the batter box…one tip n he's losing some teeth

  3. Babe Ruth was an excellent picture for over 4 years before playing full time as an outfielder. Ruth faced 100 plus mph pitching, curveballs and the spitball, yes when it was outlawed any pitcher that used the spitter was grandfathered in. With better nutrition and better training facilities, plus playing 4 more years as an outfielder and better numbers at the end of his career 900 plus homers would be easily attained.

  4. Why he was not gîven the chance to manage a big league team was another black eye on
America at a time when the past time game was not competing
with other races of humans , gave the game a fake phony game .

  5. Babe talks exactly how I expected hi m too. Like an old timer from the 20s ya see! Check out that broad with the nice yams, ya seee!

  6. Hey kid stand in the other batters box so you can get a reallll good view. A different time indeed.

  7. Man there's something about the crack of a bat that sends me to childhood. Gotta be one of the sweetest sounds in the universe.

  8. definitely a scholar of the sport but this was so long ago in todays world he wouldn't even be able to play lol

  9. Babe Ruth in todays game with today’s equipment and the length of the short fences I would guess maybe 2000 home runs in his career oh yeah and him on the workout regiments that these players do maybe 3000 home runs 😂😂😂😂😂

  10. I can't understand why a right handed hitter will never have as pretty a swing as some of these left handed guys

  11. So many guys from those days there is very little, if any, footage of them, much less with audio. Out of curiosity one day, I went looking for stuff of Christy Mathewson and as far as I could find, all that exists is one silent, somewhat blurry roll of him winding up and throwing once. But fortunately, Babe loved the spotlight, so we have lots of him. Getting to actually hear one of, if not the greatest to ever play, talk hitting is fascinating. Even if he isn't saying anything revolutionary or that we don't already know. Just hearing it from his mouth is amazing.

  12. He would lead the league in strikeouts in this Era with that slow ass swing 😂

  13. The sound of the old bats was so cool. Sounds like the ball was hit in some city alley every time
