Can PING Contend With The New TITLEIST T150 Iron? Titleist T150 vs Ping i230

#golf #titleist #ping

I compare the new Titleist T150 iron against the Ping i230 iron in ahead to head players iron battle. Two great golf clubs, one forged and the other a solid iron from a traditional golf brand. This golf review video compares them both.

  1. Love to see the T-150 versus the Srixon ZX7's. I love to see someone finally do a comparison versus other irons with the T-150!

  2. The feel was good on the i230 to me, and I've warmed to the satin finish like Mizuno did on the 923 tour. My issue is upcharge for all the different shafts compared to the Mizuno. Great club though. At this place in the players cavity market I think you are looking for looks and shaft options. Nothing else. They all perform pretty similar.

  3. Put the i230 in the bag. Moving from Mizuno MP20 MB’s they don’t feel as soft but you can certainly get some impressive results from some god awful swings! 😂

  4. Not really surprising that the two are neck to neck on feel. Despite the forged pieces the T150 is a hollow body construction which makes the irons feel different from the one-piece forgings. The Ping has clearly a lot to go for it.

  5. Love my I230s. Very forgiving. Hit the t-150s and they are very similar to them and feel great. Sticking with my 230s

  6. Would you recommend using the bladed clubs first afyer playing cb clubs for years .i and interesting in playing them.i am a 12 handicap.

  7. Mike, just a suggestion but when you show something on the screen like the shot tracers from the golfers view, as at 6:54, or the screenshot of the data averages, keep them on the screen long enough to see what is actually being shown. I'd rather look at that longer than presented here. All too often I have to pause the video, or go back afterwards and find it to look at it again. Thanks. I do enjoy the videos and just trying to help you make them better.

  8. I have both sets. Ping is a little more forgiving but t150 looks better, goes higher (for me) and gets in and out of turf better.

  9. Once you play Ping you realise how good they are. T100 or 150 look like winners though.

  10. The T150 feel is crisp and satisfying but definitely not soft for a one piece forging like a Mizuno or Zx7. Still a great iron and definitely worth testing.
