Why is Kai Sotto in several videos of YouTubers these past few days and associated in all of them with the GSW?
He's Asian and Filipino thus the prejudice the hate and the envy if he's an American kid he's already there at the NBA two years ago I mean there's tons of NBA players drafted past and present who not as good as Kai but yet got drafted , geez He's only 21 young at7'3 with a wingspan of 7'5 very talented with high basketball IQ battle scared I mean give the kid a break

Honestly? Not very good. His ceiling looks to be a mediocre backup in the NBA – and most likely not an NBA player at all. I have nothing against the kid, he just isn't very good.
Getting undrafted last year and still without atleast a 2way contract says a lot about how good Kai is. He has skills but he has serious motor issues. He looks tired all the time.

Agreed, minimum pay for a 3-bird in one shot for the Warriors. One more year on the Developmental stage is probably the best for him at Santa Cruz. Not bad for a 7'3" who just turned 21yo.
I think he can shoot both hands and it's rare to see with that kind of skills
yessss me and you i was like why the hell is cody zeller out there yet no one wants to gamble with developing kai . regarding kai stats in the nbl.. his over all stats is even bigger than any nba player who went the nbl route. and thats with just playing 1 1/2 quarter of a game. not saying he is a star. but he really should be in the nba even just as a prospect. and developement probably roster spot 11-15

NBA is all about reaching new markets, so having a Filipino born player on one of its teams, def a plus in their books.

Kai Sotto would be the cheapest big man you can get if the warriors are looking for a player who simply needs further development unlike a lot of rookies. Sotto has been playing for so long he just needs further development. And since he is not yet an NBA player then he won't exactly be receiving that much pay check yet. So if the warriors are to look for someone they need that is hella big Kai is the answer to that

Compare this guy with Jayce Johnson and the difference is night and day. Sotto still has s long way to go and most of the work is about his mental attributes. No He is not ready yet.

As a Filipino as many fan of Kai here there are as many haters and bashers Kai have
So one of his flaws right now is a lot of confidence
He got a low self esteem because of his own people bashing him just one game he doesn't perform to their standards
They want Kai to Perform as a Superstar like Kareem, Giannis and Porzingis as soon as possible then they'll bash him for not doing so
It's ok to expect something but it comes to the point that they coming at Kai for every game he does, if he done good like double double performance they'll say it's ok to them "many of the big men in the NBA can do that"
And if he do bad game theyll gonna bash Kai saying "you expect this lampa (Soft feeble) kid to come to the NBA?"

If you watch his TSF Days Stint in 2018 averaging double double that's the peak he have and still have a full confidence
