Love the pick's. Great job Luke! I would have picked Meronk over Lowery/Rose/Straka but still a good lineup. N.Højgaard and L.Aberg are next-gen golfers. 300+drives like a robot, and ice cold under pressure. I would be disappointed if they where not here. Meronk is good but has also showed some REALLY bad shots lately. He is not the robot like swing as the two scandinavians. Tommy was a sure pick.
Should be a top 10 and 2 picks. Or even just the top 12. Earned. No favours and politics.

good team but a couple of that deserve to be there and some not, would of picked Adrian meronk he has had an amazing season instead of rose and cam Smith instead of adberg, who don't get me wrong big game but might need a few more years LETS GO EUROPE!!!!!!

Lowry won a major 4 years ago and they picked him to due to his passion. But every player has passion, and passion doesn't win matches.

Meronk > straka and it’d be perfect imo still very strong but I think we have enough fiery characters with Tyrell and Rahm and I think we need Lowry for someone who’s experienced Ryder cup before

Many have commented that it’s wrong he wasn’t picked but not too much why he wasn’t..
I still believe he maybe should have been but fact is he has never really performed at the biggest stages.
DP World Tour wins yes but so far nothing on PGA and no strong majors either. Straka has a win in the PGA and tied 2nd at the Open. For example. Lowry has been quite average last 6 months but also has performed at the biggest stages multiple times. Still 50-50 to me but I understand why.
Højgaard could be both ways.. tough one.
Aberg in the end probably top3 of the picks. Generational talent who will be a force in Rome.

The Ryder Cup is really kind of stupid, the antithesis of golf in a lot of ways. But I watch the DP Tour because most American golfers are assholes, so naturally I’m pulling for Europe. I think the major difference is the short game. Americans are much better on and around the greens. I think Aberg has the best swing in golf. If Hojgaard can putt like an American, they’ll have a chance. McIlroy is overrated — if he had it between the ears, he’d be one of the best ever.
I just have a funny feeling that the biggest wildcard is Europe’s more experienced players, not the nascent ones.
