  1. Hi Andy, I had a set of the 430 and I would have to agree with you I found them to feel hard and I didn’t like the sound at all. I changed the Ping for the Titleist 350, I found the 350’s to be a world of difference in both sound and feel. Now I normally stop at a 6 iron but the 350 6 iron is so easy to get into the air that I went and ordered the 5 iron and that has not disappointed, again it’s so easy to get into the air. Titleist 350 iron’s are a great set of irons.

  2. Shelf appeal — goes to Titleist 350. I’d like it even more if Titleist had gone w/ the brushed satin appearance (similar to the Titleist 100 and 150) 👍⛳️

  3. Looks on the shelf, T350s win. Looks at address G430s win. But when you look at performance, T350s are a clear winner. Like Andy I am a little bit surprised that G430s were so obviously outclassed. The difference is that with the T350s 7i there is a decent chance when the ball lands on the green it will stop more quickly than same shot with the G430s

  4. The ping looks better than the Titleist for my taste but I still don't like the rubbish cover plates in the back of both heads. Compare either of them to an Eyes 2 or an 845s, particularly the beryllium coppers heads, and the classic looks still outshine the modern bling of the new offerings.

  5. T350 at address is awful. Sorry. Not an iron to look at for pleasure or confidence. The back plate is disgusting from this angle.

  6. Ping shouts technology, Titleist style and elegance. Have to from the other side Ping sole seems too thick for my taste

  7. Titleist for me.
I can understand with the loss of voice. My mate is a Villa fan, and I beat him on Sunday morning. The afternoon events at anfield didn't get any better for him..🤣🤣

  8. I had the opposite experience with those at my fitting. The ping flew higher, spun more and carried further than the T350. We had similar shafts too. I really liked the t350 but even with a 7i I couldn’t get above a 40* descent angle. G430 was right at 40*

  9. ping all the way hate the sound of the titleist never been a fan of chrome had the callaway paradym all though lovely to hit just hated the sound all clubs are good now adays just down to personal prefferance

  10. I have the 430’s but like the looks of the Titleist better! But I can’t afford to buy new clubs all the time so I go with cast clubs for durability. Plus I got the 5, 6 hybrids!

  11. Are they priced similarly? I honestly havent been paying attention, but the new Titleist lineup has been getting a ton of love!

  12. Ive received my 350s. 6- Gw. Tensei red A shafts.
Also got a tsr1 26 degree hybrid as my 4/5 replacement.
One round under my belt and Im very happy.
    High launch and very forgiving

  13. As a senior now, I have discovered that the G430 HL with the 35gm Alta Quick shaft is outstanding. Miles better than the regular G430. My 8 iron used to be 130 yards, now 150 and sweet to play. I'm delighted….

  14. Switched to the G430's and the are an improvement over the previous models in terms of feel, forgiveness and turf interaction. The Teitleist look great but the performance is close between the two and they cost around £220 more for a six iron set You pays your money etc…

  15. To dive deeper into the Ping G430 you will find there are two stock option shafts the AWT and the DG S300 (105?). If you are at a local shop here in the USA you will rarely find any AWT’s in stock. You almost always have to order them, and there are plenty of S300’s. This club is a fantastic iron in the AWT as far as feel, sound and over all performance. You didn’t mention exactly what shaft you were testing here? I’ve played the G430 in both shafts and the AWT shaft has made the G430 irons for the best set of irons I’ve ever played. The S300 felt hard and dull and I’m surprised any one would use them. It is 100% fact that shaft characteristics matter. Like I said there’s a reason why the AWT shafts in the G430’s don’t stay on the shelves very long at the shops. Hey Andy how about a test with the AWT shafts to see if I’m right? Luv the channel!!

  16. From a looks perspective when I look at them honestly when I look down at my 7 iron. The less bulky looking from the top wins.

  17. For my 70th birthday I bought a full set of Ping G430 driver , fairway wood, 4 hybrid 6 – 54º wedge with a chipper. I couldn't be happier!

  18. T350 wins by a mile. I play a Ping driver but when I was young and strong, my irons were titelist CB690 (not currently, though). At age 74 I need a powerful iron, and the T350 takes me back years!

  19. I have the G430s, all I can say is they are much better golf clubs than I am a golfer. When I connect the ball goes a long long way.
