  1. First thoughts on the 6 Ryder Cup picks for team Europe?! Strong or safe? I would love to know your thoughts

  2. Very unfair way to pick. It is very bad for players that worked so dang hard and played well for a long time.

  3. Good picks I think. There'll always be at least one guy whose job it is to be disappointed, and Meronk has got that gig this year. Lowry was the vulnerable one in my book, but as someone below pointed out, he has that bit of magic around the greens, and I'm guessing he's a force in the team room, so I can see why he's in.

  4. The ultimate monopoly… a small closed event with gate keepers who chose who gets to participate.

The OWGR is trash… the exclusionary tours rankings are, well, exclusionary… so what's a golfer to do?

    Start posting 1 v 1 matches online I guess.

I would rather see phil and sergio play 1 v 1 during the ryder cup, wouldn't you?

The problem of getting the best to play more events has failed on both tours….

So…. just create a bigger circuit with no guarateed cash events. More events where total points, uncapped, unadjusted, gets you into a 3 event playoff.

You'd need to win one or two just to get in.

    OR

Just go back to weeklong match play events every other week.

One week to play and one week to travel. (home, wherever)

The only option not available is the current one being proposed. (as always)…😊

  5. The only guy I got wrong in my selection was Adrian Meronk. Aberg stepped into that position. Only time will now tell whether whether it was a mistake. I think not with the Swede’s resume and he is of American collegiate training.

  6. Donald has no idea about 'European' players so he just picked the Brits (even if they are out of form) and then started on the Alphabet. Therefore Aberg. Not Meronk (who won on thát course in Rome) or Perez.

  7. Paul Casey never made himself available for one Ryder Cup because he wasn't a member of the European Tour. His choice.

  8. What makes Aberg a better pick than Meronk? I say Meronk lacks PGA success and doesn't have the same American experience as Aberg how played a lot versus Americans and was at a University in US.
