The DP World Tour visits Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club for the Omega European Masters this week as Ryder Cup qualification ends for Team Europe. Thriston Lawrence returns to Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club this week to defend the Omega European Masters title he claimed last year in a play-off against Matt Wallace. He’s won the Investec South African Open Championship in December last year and grabbed the BMW International Open so far this season. Robert MacIntyre will be in the field this week to defend his qualification spot on Luke Donald’s European Ryder Cup Team. He’ll be feeling confident after making three top-10’s in his last five starts on tour. Two-time European Masters champion and previous US Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick is also in the field this week and has the opportunity to dislodge Tommy Fleetwood on the World Points List. The pair are separated by just 3.82 points following the PGA TOUR’s TOUR Championship last week, where Fleetwood finished in a tie for sixth and Fitzpatrick in a tie for ninth. Others to look out for are Yannick Paul, Victor Perez and Rasmus Højgaard.

  1. Looks like the real deal. What a closing stretch! (@DP World Tour Where did the drive and approach on 6 go?!)

  2. European golf crowds are so cool. Appreciate and loud but not overbearing or childish with stupid cringe outbursts after the shots.

  3. Great play. Unfortunate that the graphics can't spell his name correctly, and that the commentators are pronouncing it that wildly wrong

  4. Just a suggestion to the editor of the videos sometimes people don’t know the winner of the tournament. Drama of seeing what happened in the tournament down the stretch in the most crucial
Moments make sport exciting. Instead of making a thumbnail/title with the winner of the tournament choose a neutral photo that doesn’t hint at who wins. Then show every shot from the top 2 -4 players in contention in chronological order. That way everyone that didn’t get to see it live can watch the drama unfold without knowledge of what the result is. Seeing what Fitzpatrick did well/where he made mistakes is also of interest to many people. I would love that! Please consider trying it and seeing the response.

  5. Åberg I assume. Å is a swedish O so its really Oberg with a short o. ✌🏻
