  1. I used, and still have, Nikent hybrids many years ago. They were better than other brands at that time. I could hit the heck out of them. I went with Titleist hybrids as a replacement because I could change shafts and make adjustments as I wanted.

  2. Had a set of Nickent hybrids 15 years ago. They were great clubs "except" they had a slightly closed face and it was really hard to not hook them.

  3. I'd heard of the brand, but can't remember where or when. For some reason, I was thinking I'd heard of them making balls, but I'm not sure if that's the case… I'm currently gaming another brand positioned just below the big boys, TourEdge.

  4. I watched Todd Hamilton win the 2004 Open at Royal Troon using Nickent hybrids. I purchased the 3 and 4 hybrids not long after. I still own them but have put them away in favor of more modern clubs. I might pull them out, regrip them and see how they will play. Thanks for the history lesson. It’s good to know.

  5. I believe the first hybrids although not sold as such were made by a Japanese company called Kasco. With the exception of the driver all the soles were rounded, unlike 3,4,5 woods of the time. Head material was super hyten. I have had 2 myself, both so easy to launch from basically anywhere on the course. I still have the 55 which is a 22° degree, although I don't use it anymore. Never heard of the brand featured tbh

  6. Nickent had a presence in stores here is SC. I played the 3DX hybrid and know several others that did as well – quality product.

  7. Yes …I’ve used them as new golfer many years ago…they work well…and I found them as a lefty

  8. They were also producing hollow-body irons long before the current trend. True innovators ahead of their time.

  9. used 4dx Irons, hybrids + Driver for about 2 seasons. Hybrids were the best, hands down, on the market during it's time. Still have a set of GH plus irons.

  10. I Bought a few sets from USA … loved the driver and the hybrids. still use the hybrid

  11. also got a 5dx 2 hybrid great clubs – the ones from America.. i got mine when i believe they were going out of business.
