I’m giving Harman his props as a worthy Open champion, although he is not an established star. He’s a quality pro. BTW, it has always been referred to as
The Open, and some came say British Open to make sure it’s distinguished from the U.S. Open.
Back to Harman, he needs to reduce those waggles; any time a person gets to double digit waggles, it’s too much. You guys may be too young to remember Sergio Garcia’s re-gripping waggles. Folk started major heckling of him, and finally changed his routine to reduce them.
I’ve only recently become aware of you guys, and stopped watching The Big Break many years ago. Good job.
You are definitely correct about “growing the game” being vague and nebulous, although it always has a component of “more people playing”. Doug’s point needing to know “by who or where” is essential to understanding what is actually happening.
Both '23 Opens on short courses which bombers dislike, need more short course majors & less wet & cold majors. Move PGA Champ back to August
