  1. as a Colts fan i am pissed i am thankful for the Texans…trading up for Anderson gave us the way to draft Richardson..Also Isiah Rodgers is gone so Rush/Jones will move in there too

  2. I agree with everything you said, but Raimann didn’t start early in the year , it was Matt Pryor, Raimann did come in but his rating is kinda misleading, he was pretty good but he got a duck load of holding calls in really bad spots , and I’m not one to blame Refs , but about half of them were egregious, like the moniker “you can holding on any play” didn’t even stand , they were just objectively bad calls. Once he got into a rhythm , he was great by rookie standards.

  3. Been waiting patiently for the Colts episode! Loved the other ones. Thanks for the tip(s) for fantasy from that Texans video guys! 👀

  4. Love the assessment from you guys because your on point with literally everything.. Especially about the problem last year.. Im 43 yrs old and been not only a colts fan but a fan of football period since the 80s but a colts fan since 96..and this is the only podcast I've heard actually take note of the WHOLE situation and take everything into account when assess a team.. You actually know the roster and understand the talent there.. Alot of ppl just talk without knowing football or the team.. Lol.. And IMO they will definitely make the biggest jump of the teams with 6 or less wins from last year.. But I'm the type of person that can tell someone more about their own team than they know.. I seriously have friends that ask me all the time what their teams are doing… But you guys literally touch on everything you really do your homework because ppl always just talk about the surface(meaning the same thing everyone does).people don't study tape or listen to the players talk..or study the team they just talk about what the media is saying.. Lol. But you guys know the debth and all.. Great show..and your assessment on Richardson is on point.. Yall are good..im on the side of Brett on floor and ceiling.. Lol

  5. The division stinks, so they could win some games. Interested to see how Richardson develops – the offense he was playing in at Florida would have been embarrassing to a high school program, so it didn't really show what he is capable of. The coaching change should be an upgrade too. Just have to hope whatever flawed decision-making led to the Jeff Saturday experiment doesn't derail the team again.

  6. At 37:00 – the over/under on Richardson's passing yards is maybe being influenced by a chance they might start Minshew for a couple of games, which seems like a bad idea (I love Minshew but Richardson is your starter and your long-term plan, so why keep him on the sidelines?).

  7. As a Colts fan, the Texans are the only team in the AFCS that if I have to pull for them to win a game (to help the Colts or to beat the Cowboys or NE), I don't feel like I need to take a shower.

  8. Just listening to this kid talk he just is so well put together I really think he's going to end up being great I know it would be an outlier if he was going by history but he has the right support system around them coaching staff I believe and I feel he is going to surprise people with his pocket presence and his America's favorite straw extension without necessarily just taking off and running

  9. With Richardson here we can finally forget about damn Andrew luck he fucked us for years I hope the buildings he has built fall down stupid architect dumb ass

  10. I keep repeating the 989 thing I heard you talk about on an underdog podcast thats how I learned about you guys so excited to hear more about that and shanes system

  11. Honestly colts last season probably should have kept Wentz they had a top 10 offense with him with not a whole lot and dropped to bottom 3

  12. The gap between your legs in the thumbnail looks like a Blue Moon or another Witbier, or maybe I'm just an alcoholic

  13. Please add a letter grade to the report card. This would do a lot to help us understand what you think of that group and let us know that even though it's neutral, it is still good or bad

  14. When the colts drafted Alec Pierce, I looked him up, came to the conclusion that he is DK light, or DK Whitecalf, as I call him

  15. Easily the best Colts content I’ve watched in the last few years. I didn’t think I could get more hype for the Colts this season but here we are

  16. When I watched some of Anthony Richardson film I came away with the conclusion that he is what the Jets want Zach Wilson to be.

  17. I love how for both teams the Denver vs Indy game was the turning point for most fans. Im a Denver fan and I was at the Seattle game and I still held hope, but after that Indy game I couldn't stand to watch anymore.

  18. AR was bad in college. I think the odds of him becoming a good pro QB are low. He's another Zach Wilson or Trey Lance that was drafted because of his athletic ability.

  19. That “snapshot” commentary re: drafts is brilliant. I definitely get caught in that mentality but I’m going to have a better perspective moving forward.
    Nicely done, EJ 🫡

  20. While AR won't see the field as quickly as Ryan did, he has the mobility to extend plays. He also has a much stronger arm to punish defenses downfield. If he can use his 4.4 speed effectively, that will also buy him more time.

The defense was phenomenal last year, so being even to last year is fine. It will still help AR as he makes mistakes.

I doubt we make the playoffs this year, but I could easily see us winning the division next year. Assuming AR develops well.

  21. Yeah, you definitely said the Colts should draft Richardson on my show, before the draft. And now that I've seen him in practice, I see what you were seeing. (And yes, he has friends who are Colts fans)

  22. Give us 3 years, and we'll be a rough team to deal with. If we end up with Harrison Jr next yr, Good luck.

  23. I dont know, I came out of this more convinced than ever that Anthony Richardson is a project QB.

I think it happened somewhere between the insightful statements "If the 1st two QBs taken this year weren't in the draft, Richardson would have been the first QB taken!" and "if this year's fourth pick was taken last year when a QB didnt get drafted til 20, he would have been the first QB taken!"
    Absolute bangers.

  24. Fayson and Pryor were absolute garbage and massive liabilities every Colts fan is glad they're gone, I'd hardly consider them notable losses. With that said, I just stumbled on your channel, excellent content, keep it up!

  25. I knew the O-line was screwed the second Indy lost both Mark Glowinski and Chris Reed to free agency. You can deal with 1 hole in the O-line. You can't deal with 2 without serious help elsewhere (mobile quarterback, good offensive scheme, etc.).

  26. as bad as last season was…. we did beat the chiefs and lost to the eagles by 1. 🤷🏻‍♂️ if richardson can do what he does, we could be deadly right out the gate (no pun intended 🐎)

  27. Colts fan, one of the reasons that came out why the Oline failed in 2022 was cuz of our Defensive gameplan oddly enough. The MOST conservative gameplan so in practice the Oline never practiced against the blitz. These guys are profesionals, I doubt that was anything more than an excuse but… It IS an interesting thing :).

Also the coaching DIDN'T get better really… the D Coordinator is the same, Steichen IS Reich 2.0 (same history, same class… just different character style- Reich was more of a player's coach where Steichen probably won't be), and a brand new Offensive Coordinator just like last year. If they lose Jonathan Taylor I expect this team to go 0-17. Which may not be such a bad thing. We want Marvin Harrison Jr. like no tomorrow.

  28. also they could not 'take a swing' until this year anyway… 2020 we had traded our 1st for Deforrest Buckner, 2021 we were too good with Phillip Rivers, 2022 was a notoriously bad QB class… so yeah.
