The par 5, 14th hole at Manchester Country Club in Manchester, Connecticut

The par 5, 14th at Manchester Country Club, in Manchester, Connecticut, is the debatable signature hole of the course. It features one of the few elevated tees on the course. The landing area is protected by two bunkers on either side of the fairway. It will take about a 265-yard drive from the back tees to carry the fairway bunkers or stay short of them with a less than 220-yard drive. From there, players will have to contend with playing short of a water hazard with a lone tree in front of it that forces golfers to play from one side or the other. There is plenty of room to play to the right side of the tree while remaining short of the water for the remaining approach shot. From there, it’s a short iron that should allow for a chance to end closer to the pin for an easier birdie putt.
