Just because Alcaraz very narrowly beat Djokovic at Wimbledon 2023 (which Djokovic should have won – especially set #2) everyone is praising Alacaraz and writing the tennis obituary of Djokovic. Well, what a joke. Alcaraz gets a thrashing from Tommy Paul. And he barely beat Hurkacz in Canada. And there is also Sinner in the mix. So let's see how great Alcaraz is. After all he choked at French Open and was injured earlier this year. And I would not rule out Djkovic winning another 3 grand slams should he play for 2-3 more years.
I'm Serbian by the way, but I have to say that when Alcaraz plays with his 100%, he's a better player than Nadal, Federer and Nole together. And he still has a lot of capacity for improvement. Total respect for young Alcaraz !!

I got a notification saying "Paul shocks Alcaraz". I found it incredibly cringe. Anyone who considers such match outcomes a shock is an absolute moron. Tennis matches are lost/win due to a very few points' difference. The margin has always been tiny and always will be. Tommy Paul is a pro player. Any pro player can beat any pro player at any given day.
If it were a recreational/amateur player the beat Alcaraz, now thaaaaat deserves the word "shock", not two pros playing each other!

I get extremely annoyed at having to listen to "Well done", "Nice touch", "Makes it", "Out it goes" comments after each point. It doesn't add anything positive to the experience to be told, exactly what I've just witnessed for myself, why do we have to be subjected to this torture?
