We try to conquer the downhill race, dive into the infamous Lake Ride, check out a bunch of the hottest bikes and bump into some MTB celebrities at the UK’s biggest mountain bike festival!

The Malverns Classic has a rich heritage. Launched in the 1990s, it hosted downhill XC and even the fearsome quad-eliminator events, alongside a festival atmosphere. During the day, riders raced for the honour of getting a trophy, but by night they let their hair down, partying in the darkness, even if they were racing the next day.

But, after the 90s, it all went quiet and the Malverns Classic was no more. UNTIL 2018, when the man behind the British National Downhill Series, Si Paton, had the idea of reviving the festival, with a tweak!

Once again, the Malverns Classic is one of the best places to rub shoulders with the pros, enjoy some amazing festival vibes and get out on your bike.
