This is a wreck that will be shown for years to come. Thank the GOOD LORD he wasn't killed or severely injured. The structure of the car held up incredibly well. The full containment seat, Han's Device, the way the cages are built all played a part as to why he will live to race again. Not sure, but looked like the window net failed? Maybe I'm wrong, but Maaan what a ride.

Unbelievable , and all the couch potatoes engineers who are saying this should have never happened apparently don’t know physics. The bottom line is he is OK . Can they make improvements yes , but it’s when these things happen they can look at the aftermath and reevaluate what can be done to improve the car . Everyone needs to remember this is a dangerous sport.

The most violent wreck in the history of NASCAR happened this past weekend. Let that sink in. The only other wreck that could be considered just as bad is Geoffrey Bodine.
Can somebody explain me why the first barrel role at 2:27 was left inward(unless it became aeroplane there)? I am unable to understand the physics here. subsequent roof ground contact and following rolls are in line with momentum car carries.
Horrific accident with the driver being alive. In the past these kinds of accidents are insta kill for drivers.

The comparison between the real time video and the slow motion is incredible. Real time was over fast. Wouldnt have time to count the revolutions or judge the height. I read he's shaken up but ok. Would be easy to think the worst.

Miracles do happen. My mom doesn’t watch racing like my dad but even she cried out from the kitchen. We were all quiet, the car just wouldn’t stop rolling.
