  1. 52:20 – Im convicned that people who talk about prospects don't actually watch the NBA. Bring back Mcgee in Dallas? First, Mcgee is sgined to a 2+1 deal so he isn't going anywhere even if dallas didn't want him. And second, Mcgee was AWFUL. He was benched for the rest of the year after like 4 games and dallas needed a competent center.

  2. JJJ has 39 inch vert did really well on combine. “Not a complementary piece” LOL I want what u smokin

  3. Carson you need to do more talking or maybe just have your own show. Logan has ordinary takes. No offence but he talks too much.

  4. I'm pretty surprised about the Jaime Jaquez take. This guy was the only player I saw miami taking because he embodies heat culture. If they could've gotten Scoot or Miller, maybe? But this guy is very obviously a "dawg."

  5. You said for both Jaime and lively that there were several prospects who were better players at the spot they were selected and only mentioned whitmore for both of them. Pretty casual take, If you don’t have more examples than just cam don’t say several.

  6. Diggin you nerds, gotta say it's a fair concern talking about Podeze……gemski on the Warriors that you make. It's true about his D. Not great despite being athletic enough to jump high. Not great with lateral movement, played in a system that brought in steals too….

….but while it's fair to doubt his D, i will say NBA history is full of WAY worse D players easily won while starting and being integral parts of that winning otherwise.

Say for instance Mark Price. Egads what pourous D. Much smaller, no athleticism at all other than quickness (and on D that's simply not as valuable,) and average at best arm and hand length. And of course i'll let your nerdish minds fill in many more less athletic and capable of D players than how do you pronounce it again portends to be for the Dubs.

And luckily in hoops a team can blend in really bad defenders if they already have a good team D concept and skill, which the Warriors still do although not as great as their D once was….but Dray, Wiggins, Klay is getting fully healthy now his D will probably be a bit better than last year, JK, Loons in the back, don't forget of course about Gary!

They can cover for some pourous one on one defenders, but this new cat and the W's other rookie out of Indiana both play smart ball, will way moreso help on D certainly than Poole did…but more importantly simply by being aware on that side of things and smart and team players…that critique of Gemski is how i'm spelling it until i get used to it….that critique is fair, but one the W's can certainly blend in and not be that bad.

Also, i think there is a strong case to be made that often when teams overly focus on taking advantage of mismatches, that they play themselves out of their rhythm on O, almost play into concepts the Ws can have ready by doubling, but point being you can get away with one or maybe two imperfect but smart and aware defenders out there, sometimes teams trying to take advantage of that don't really gain from trying, only get themselves out of their flow.

    Peace

  7. Lakers got STEALS!! love to see it 👏👏 We run this league always have. Lakeshow on top baby let’s get it 🫡

  8. Weird that you are so high on TJD saying he's a great defender even though he's pretty undisciplined and block hunting but are so low on Lively who has a much better profile as a rim defender. And this is coming from a warriors fan, I was really hoping we'd be the one to get Lively.

  9. I don't understand how Trayce Jackson Davis played 4 years at Indiana and never developed his off hand. Just another excuse for Steve Kerr to not play Kuminga.

  10. Brandon Miller is a good pick ONLY if they see him as a #1 scoring option on a playoff team. You don’t select for “fit” at the #2 pick, you take the best “talent” which was Scoot. Scoot I can definitely see as a #1 a la Derrick Rose, and his leadership skills and ability to make others better dwarfs that of Miller.

  11. Yo just wanna give Carson mad credit for his growth/development in podcasting. When he first joined Jason about a year ago I was highly critical of him and believe I even commented a few times saying I thought he detracted from the segments but now I’m a huge fan. Night and day difference and just credit to you bro for the grind.

  12. I love this content but whoever is in post production needs to sound mix better, constantly having to turn it up and down depending on who is talking.

  13. Sorry guys, but if you really think that Javale McGee is an answer for Mavs at 5 then you didn't watch the games. How McGee can be a starter center if he was practically DNP-CD after 10 games of the season?

  14. Hawks were keen to trade up to draft Lively at 10, Pelicans were also keen at 14. Baldy on the left doesn't know half the league passed on Whitmore lol.
