Long overdue win for Leeds, and possibly a little fortunate, but I'm made up! My dad is an Ipswich fan (from Woodbridge originally), so have a soft spot for them. Love your objectivity as ever Benjamin, you are an absolute legend! Best wishes for the season (as long as you don't pip us to the post! 🤣).

Leeds fan here. Great unbiased video Ben, in fact more than charitable towards Leeds, thought we were dreadful in defence and could have let more goals in but as you eluded to, we do have an awesome front line which got us over the line in the end. Keep the vids coming you always give a professional and knowledgeable account.

Great commentary. Watched as a leeds fan, very impressed with your knowledge of both teams. Keep up the good work dude. Ipswich will be real contenders this season, thought you had us pegged back for large periods of this game and a draw would’ve of probably been the fair result.
United did okay but IT had more chances and possession and that is to your credit well done 😀

As a Leeds fan with a soft spot for Ipswich was good to win of course, but also nice to see Ipswich looking good. Put the League One period behind you it seems. Be nice to see you back in the top flight too.

you never mentioned tho , Ipswich first goal was way off side , should not have counted ,,, 2 nd goal was a lucky , sloppy back pass ,, also Ipswich should have had at least 1 player sent off easily , how he stayed on the pitch just shows that officials always favour the opposition to Leeds , morse should have been sent off . and another player for ipswich should have been sent off too ,,, so summing up Leeds won 4-3 against Ipswich and 3 officials !!

As a Leeds fan living in Ipswich, I really enjoyed this – so much so that I have subscribed to your channel (a rarity for me). I was intrigued to hear you say you parked on the hill where Sir Bobby Robson used to live, is that the picturesque Angelsea Road?
Your video has also managed to capture my 74-year-old neighbour Stuart in it. He has been traveling home and away watching his beloved Tractor Boys since the late 70s. When I returned home from Portman Road on Saturday, he was waiting at my front door to carry out a debrief over a bottle of South African Pinotage.
As ever and like you have proved to be, Stuart was gracious in defeat and refreshingly insightful as we sat out on the deck on a wonderful late August evening in Suffolk.
I must admit to having found Ipswich Town fans to be knowledgeable and warm and without doubt, have now developed a soft spot for the club and town (now also the birthplace of my one-year-old son) All the very best this season and I look forward to following your travels. See you on the 23rd of December.

Great content Ben, I'm a Leeds fan, I will ask you this question because I know that you will give an honest opinion. I've watched the highlights, regarding Ipswich's first goal, was it offside? TV coverage wasn't conclusive. Also I would appreciate your opinion on Leeds's Luis Sinisterra, IMO he's the best player in the Championship, I hope that we can keep hold of him this season.
