bairstow and ali shouldnt be in the squad at all, blocking proper one days from taking their rightful place and the 2 best bowlers are missing but fit, mills and chris jordon very much playing with old stock

Simon Doull is right. Harry is better at Number 4 or 5 and isn't yet a Number 3.

Do we really need three left arm seam bowlers? Brook for Topley or Willey for me. Sam Curran, Woakes, Ali cover us for all rounders without Stokes. Root and Livingstone can bowl spin. We have so many options but Brook is an incredible player who's only getting better.

So should we punish Harry Brook for not playing enough odi series because he was playing for England’s test team simultaneously while england were playing ODI’s?? Aggregated stats by playing 20 min innings: Harry brook has the 2nd highest test batting avg only lower to Bradman. He has the highest batting SR among the list of all time test avgs per espncric. I know its only 20 innings but for a 24 year old, thats inhuman achievements to be next to bradman at his age.

Livingstone has done nothing in a year, I know he is soon cover but he isn't good at that either. Roy is well over the hill. Brook has an test average of 60

The only way Brook comes in is if all 4 of Roy, Malan, Livingstone & Moeen fail in NZ series .. they want a spinning all rounder in top 6 .. which could be Jacks in that opening slot and then Brook comes in as a finisher at 6

Seriously this shouldn’t even be a thing to discuss Harry Brook is a super star best English batter and entertainer right now specially in shorter formats he should be in any playing 11 no matter what!!!!
Eoin not picking Brook is hella sus, there is legit some sort of favouritism when NOT picking someone as talented as Brook.
Well Brooks is far better batsman than stokes.
