With two wins and a Top 10 finish at the TOUR Championship this PGA TOUR season, many fans are left scratching their heads as to why Keegan Bradley was left off Team Captain, Zach Johnson’s Ryder Cup picks.

Old boys club Zach. Not surprised. They need to DUMP this 6 picks for the captain BS. The whole point was to allow a captain flexibility to pick a couple guys who are showing current form. Zach flipped that good concept the bird. They need to go back to 8 auto qualifiers and 4 picks. If Spieth and JT get rolled in Rome and the USA loses again over there, it will all be on the captain. If they win, all will be forgotten.
Isn't it ironic that in a sport that is highly individualistic, Keegan Bradley isn't selected because he isn't a team player??

How many tournaments do you have to win in one year to get the nod. Justin Thomas didn’t even make the top 70 in the playoffs. JT is a great player, he’s just not playing well right now. He should have declined to invite. He is going to be a disappointment.

Koepka doesn't belong in this and neither does JT. Bradley and Glover both won twice and they are probably never going to be this close again at their age. Thomas won nothing. I guess they aren't part of the Jupiter clique. Go Europe!

The only real snub is Glover. That putter is red hot, and it's really a putting contest. I think the picks were not horrible, but more of a 'team' and 'buddy' basis. Europe is going to be difficult to beat period.
IMO…KB s/b on the team…not JT, this time around! It's hard not to pick LG too [2 very recent, strong wins]…possibly over CM [not so great record] or RF [same reason]…although his play way much better the past yearish!!! As fans suffer another disappointment, as sponsors who put up purse monies decline, as TV viewership ratings decline, as the players themselves avoid meaningful progress to enhance their future, will golf become the next dinosaur, gone but not yet forgotten?

Never been a Bradley fan but he deserved to be on the team. JT didn't.

My thing with JT is that he purposely skipped Dell Matchplay because it is a course he has struggled at. If he isn't comfortable at a course to play it because of struggles, how does playing in Rome change his confidence with struggles he has had as a whole this year. This isn't an American venue he can bring energy with. The golf course will eat you alive if you struggle which is why I was hoping Keegan was picked over JT.

The only way you “earn” a spot is to qualify on points. Keegan didn’t. If JT doesn’t work out it’s on ZJ. Let’s get behind this talented team that has the chemistry to take down Europe. If you need a history lesson on bad USA Ryder Cups read Shane Ryan’s book about the Ryder Cup. A lot of really good players that weren’t good teams. My favorite quote from the movie Miracle is when Herb Brooks says, “I’m not looking for the best players, I’m looking for the right ones.” I have a lot of faith in Team USA.

Keegan Bradley was passed over because of his close relationship with Phil Mickelson. Sam Burns was only picked because of his friendship with Scottie Scheffler. Should have had Bradley & Lucas Glover instead of Burns and Justin Thomas. Hope the US gets their asses handed to them. Won't be watching!!!!
Based on tee to green, approach shots and putting….Fowler and Morikawa are locks. Looking at possible pairings for group play, I don't see how Bradley wasn't selected.
