Mookie and Freddie play off each other so well in the lineup. You have to throw strikes to Mookie because a walk is a recipe for instant offense when Freddie comes up. If you're throwing strikes to Mookie, he isn't missing many these days.

Boone is clueless. It took some time to find out because he was never straight forward when he spoke about anything.
Is there another Dodger that walked away? Yes- Corey Seager, who currently leads MLB in wOBA and WRC+ (for all batters with 50+ PAs; Seager doesn’t qualify but he’s at 402). Oh, he’s also going to win the AL batting title (currently at .346, second in the majors and 20 points ahead of the next closest AL batter).
i think a huge reason the dodgers don’t want mookie stealing a ton of bases is bc they don’t want to take the bat out of freddie’s hands. why risk mookie making an out on the bases when freddie is more likely to hit a double and drive mookie in that way or at the very least move him to 3rd for will smith. his speed has diminished a little but he’s still a great base runner
i also don’t see many people talking about the potential for him to become just the 2nd player in MLB history to win MVP in both leagues or the fact he will be the first lead off hitter to hit 40+ home runs in a single season. he has a chance to make history too.
