Been waiting for this since the last ball test!
I hope I don't need to buy a bunch of new golf balls to try
to me it looked like the big winner of the test was the Zstar diamond, never thought about it before but it seems like it was close to the top in every category
Hopefully someone smarter than me does a comparison with the results from Today's Golfer ball test that just came out. Figure out where the differences are at and why. Different robot, weather conditions I assume. I know their tests were bigger on the Wilsons and less so on the ProV lineup.
Looks like Pxg ball is like a Kirkland
Balls need to have alignment lines printed.
Kirkland balls should aim at low spin and less slices.

Why do these guys say "nitch" all the time? Do they mean niche? π
It would be helpful to do the same test in cold weather. It is commonly assumed that lower compression balls perform better in colder weather.

Ex: I'm a high swing speed (~130 mph) that hits the ball really high and spins it a lot as a result. So any golf ball that helps me keep the ball low while taking off the spin off the driver adds an immense amount of value to my game. As a result, I'm going to be testing to following to see which best fits my game for the money:
Expensive: Pro V1x/Pro V1x Left Dash (lower spin, lower flying)
Mid-Range: Bridgestone Tour B X (higher spin, lower flying)
Cheap: OnCore ELIXR (higher spin, lower lying)
I LOVE the tests where they actually hit the ball to observe performance!
It's funny… I'm playing the ball I am now because of your previous tests, now it seems that ball sucks for me. LOL. I like it on the course, but I feel like I could be playing a better ball….again…..LOL. I might have to try the Maxfli tour X. It looks to preform well in the tests for my swing speed.
