This professional tour golfer was heading to the PGA Tour in 2024, and judging by all the stories about the 27-year-old PGA professional Argentine is in for some fireworks!!

If this has been going on for a while, why hadn't the tour officials brought this to his attention, and put him on notice! I don't get this.
Unless the tour takes action against Patrick Reed, it's truly an unfair label

If no carts are allowed, I would think the only people in carts would be affiliated with the event and should know better. As for calling him a wild boy, what does that even mean? Tiger was a wild boy. It didn't mean he cheated at golf.
Seems like every player needs to have a dedicated rules professional assigned to them to watch them like a hawk. I know its ridiculous but…

Ok riding a cart to first hole is not cheating, i agree to be giving him a suspension, what cheating has he done? You did not indicate what he is doing to cheat. Being a wild boy means a lot of different things, not necessarily cheating. Look at John Daly!

If this is the only instance they have of him cheating and don't give us anymore than this is crap. Taking a shuttle? Really? That's not Reed levels of cheating thats saving yourself a couple minutes of walking. In reality he's helping the pace of play. If they are going to suspend him they better give us actual instances of him cheating like altering a score card or improving his lie etc. But hitching a ride on a golf cart?…I mean seriously?
Tour players walk 18 holes. How hard can it be to walk from one tee to the next?

Has Reed ever been suspended for cheating? How about Rory? He took two bad drops but never suspended.

Unless there's something more concrete, I would say this guy's performance record shows he deserves a place on the main tour. Unauthorised shuttle lift? That's a mistake he won't make again.

If he only took a cart to the first tee, that isn't even a penalty as he has no all in play and his round has yet to begin.
This is miles from the whole story.
And if he legitimately cheated, he CAN NOT be allowed to reap the benefit of the doubt and be promoted to the PGA Tour. Too many good players doing things right to let another cheater slide by

and this is why people think golf is a stuck up game for posh idiots! why is getting in a buggy so bad! why is that rule illegal! there no advantage! yes is you sat in it for a whole round and everyne else had to walk in the heat? then yes but to one hole? this game is ruined by stupid rule like this!!
A wild boy? Rahm and Hatton bark out profanities and they're CELEBRATED!!! Woods won many Tour events juiced up the yin yang and the Tour, sponsors, every publication ignored it. He wrote off cars 3 times while beeing stoned, yet the most protected Brand in sports again is celebrated. What nonsense.

Privacy is good imo. BUT By NOT being transparent, it makes everyone’s imagination run wild sometimes.
It’s important to this players reputation to be clear what’s happening here, even if it’s bad, if that makes sense.

It’s that everyone is a p***y…..so much I’m not even allowed to call them what they are….the world needs to toughen up.
If it is as said that the guy was offering a ride it's improbable that only he took the lift. Was he setup are there golfers who just dislike him ? Pranks happen all the time. If he has been taking liberty with the rules I can see others disliking him being promoted to the tour. It is a tangled web being weaved.
