Yes, it's true that super rich people's Ben Simmons is better than Steph Curry.
The problem with what Jordan and Mad Dog and even Stephen A. is saying is that they're wrong about the true definition of a point guard.
They claim that a point guards first objective upon crossing half court is simply to get your teammates a good shot. If you go by this definition then sure Magic is the best PG of all time with Steph a close second.
But that's not actually the primary objective of a point guard. The true objective of a point guard is to put your entire team in a position to score, INCLUDING the point guard themself as also being an option to score for the team.
The point of a PG isn't to rack up assists, it's to ensure your team scores, even if that means scoring it yourself. Steph is as good a playmaker as Magic was, but his ability to score and shoot from deep means a lot of the time, the best way for the Warriors to score is to look to Steph as their primary option and once you combine that with his ability to facilitate scoring opportunities for others both on AND off the ball easily settle the debate of best point guard of all time in Wardell Stephen Curry II's favor.

He was the beginning of Showtime. Its just a hard thing to see legacy wise continue on.. His jumper is something to be concerned over though.
This dude said if curry doesn’t score he’s not a factor??? 🤣🤣🤣 Klay wouldn’t be in the warriors if it wasn’t for curry. Curry is the reason Klay and the warriors function. Curry assisted almost all of Klays points. Any other PG would not be so unselfish. Also, curry simply being in the floor draws 2-3 players attention at once because of his threat the moment he reaches half court. Magic doesn’t have that threat factor. I’d say dunking due to his height over curry is his only advantage. But curry despite being smaller in size can finish in a many ways too in the paint – whether it’s a floater or nice touch of the backboard. I’m curious to know how good the lakers were without magic in the floor.. because the warriors doesn’t exist without curry.. the warriors is like the Knicks without curry. Draymond is like a lost deer 🦌 in your headlights without curry. It’s hard for these guys to recognize greatness when a player doesn’t follow the traditional path to get there. Furthermore, Curry impacted the league much more than Magic and curry stood in the way of Lebron much more than magic stood in the way of Jordan. Mug MJ and magic or buddies so Jordan has to show support. For curry’s size, he wasn’t even expected to impact the league or make the league much less to be in this conversation. This makes him even more impressive.
I had to mute this video from the opening nonsense about Magic alone can dominate a game without scoring. Bro.. curry assisted almost all scoring, even Klay records was because of curry unselfishness. Magic could not demand attention without the ball like curry- curry is constantly moving – that’s why when you have a second scorer with curry they cannot be stopped. When the team has to guard you from the moment you reach half court.. you already impacted the game even without passing the ball. If curry had another scorer like AD or KD like Lebron has.. it would be over. Imagine trying to guard curry at half court and another scorer is in the court.. KD showed you what that looked like. Btw Klay is a shooter not a scorer and he’s even more limited now because of his injury.

Lol yeah but no. Michael learned from the greats. Michael did what he had to. Magic and Larry did the same. He just learned from the best to be the best. Magic is the greatest point guard ever at this moment. If steph is able to get another ring and a fmvp ill consider the arguemnet until then its magic. It goes magic then curry and then you can have a debate again whose 3rd and i feel the same way about mj and bron. The thing curry has over magic is his shooting, his shooting creates this enormous gravity which gives his team amazing spacing and because of this picks and screens work even more phenomenally. I will say that currys impact on a team will be more felt than magic as the gravity gives his team mates space to get better while magics passing and play making makes good plays almost impossible to stop.
