A leggy knows a leggy. Well called Shane, must have a crystal ball in his pocket. He said he got root out lbw and stokes caught behind the stumps in a net session with England. I’m telling you if picked Ahmed will get 5+ wickets in the match and will do so in honour of the Very late but ever so great Shane Warne.
Playing with rehan in the academy till now I genuinely so impressed and proud of what he's achieved. Despite that I'm not surprised, the kid had talent like you would not believe.

This is one video that throws up mixed emotions. The happiness for the kid on making it to the Ashes squad and the sheer sadness to not hear Warne's commentary.
Only legends can find sparkle in new talents. Warne was the one who found Ravindra Jadeja to be one of best all rounder in future. (He said it in 2008 post success of IPL season 1)

Just look at the childish enthusiasm and joy on Shane's face and in his voice. His eyes just lit up.
There's a man who loved life, loved his sport and loved his art.
When the thousands at the Oval in 2005 were all chanting "We wish you were English" at him, they weren't wrong. Even as an Englishman, I miss him so much. Watching these clips make me well up. Sky put up another one a few days ago, of Shane and Tendulkar having a quick middle practice together around the time of the MCC vs RoW match where they captained the sides.
