Excited to share this one with you as so golfers struggle with their driver due to unintentionally cutting or chopping across the golf ball upon impact, i’m sure some of you can relate. This issue can have a significant impact, leading to unwanted side spin that sends the ball off course robbing you of the crucial distance that’s essential for an enjoyable game.
In the following video I share three simple yet effective pieces of advice. These tips aim to guide you in achieving a more inside-out swing, which not only helps you regain that lost distance but also provides you with enhanced control to hit straighter tee shots
If you often find yourself struggling with the driver, with the unsettling feeling that it might impact your overall performance, there’s a great chance that this video holds the key you need. It could be just the solution to help you start consistently hitting straighter, longer drives, making your golfing experience all the more enjoyable, and who doesn’t want that!!

Wow! Great drills, thanks Chris
Good tips chris, especially positioning driver 2-3 inches behind ball at address has helped me enormously. Another tip that works for me is where i focus on the ball, driver i focus on a spot back of ball, irons i focus on front of ball or even 1-2 inches of the ground ahead of ball, takes getting used to but both of these tips helps me deliver the low point needed. Keep up the good work !
Thanks Chris with that shift I think my iron play will improve 👍
Great lesson! Thanks for covering Driver and Irons. 👍
Nice one Chris 👍 😊
This is a good one. Is it normal when trying to get the grip above my heels that my left arm feels much more across my chest?
Nice one, Chris – been hitting Driver awful Irons not bad. Had lesson today, my grip had got a bit weak so strengthened Grip and my pro’ got me doing exactly the drill you’re showing here ! Also saying turn right pocket behind you on backswing.
Made half decent fist of it but going to need lot of practice as totally new movement
Cheers
Ken 👍
lovely video, will rip a wall apart tomorrow at the range!
Nice one. Thanks Chris.
Been having problems lately with in to out swing path, or attempting in to out path, and push straight right or snap hooks left
Really helpful lesson, thanks
The visual of what happens with driver when you just push the arms down was really helpful. I’m pretty sure I am doing that (really need video) which, as you show, makes it impossible to achieve the desired result.
Really great video! I'm a nooby and played my first ever 18 yesterday and was on some occasions hitting the ground with the irons , hopefully this will helps me moving forward! Thanks 👏
Really sound golf advice 👏🏻
I hit from the inside, now i have a hook.
