Coach Prime, Matt Rhule, Luke Fickell & the most important Fixers in College Football this season

FOX Sports’ lead college football analyst Joel Klatt goes into the rebuilds that Colorado’s Deion Sanders, Nebraska’s Matt Rhule and Wisconsin’s Luke Fickell have in their first year at their respective schools. He evaluates where each program is at and what expectations should be for this coming season. Then, he goes around the country looking at the most impactful players and coaches in their first year at their programs. Ranging from Cade McNamara at Iowa to USC’s defensive transfer class to the reinforcements on Michigan’s Offensive Line, he groups players and coaches by what should be expected of them this season – from “shoe fillers” to “fixers.” He also ranks which new QB-OC combination at Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia he is most concerned about.

  1. I think that a guy that could fill Jordan addison's role could be Mario Williams. USC always produces good NFL wide receivers, (Juju smith-schuster, Robert Woods, Amon-Ra St. Brown) Mario Williams could be the next.

  2. I just got done mowing & was thinking, 😂 Colorado is complaining about the hate they are getting now wait till all the the Wives, Mothers across the Nation hear about Sanders kicking all the kids off the team besides a couple when they watch football & hear about it from their spouses..

  3. Rhules success has been proven yes. BUT how's the programs success since Rhule left?? Yeah I'll wait….. Nebraska will be lucky to win 4 games this season.

  4. What is fascinating is the view CU doesn't have the financial resources to compete. That is total BS.

Colorado has an enormous wealthy alumni base. Boulder is one of the wealthiest zip codes in the United States.

The alumni, like me, have curtailed our donations until CU's administration got its head out of it's a$$. With new President Todd Saliman, the university finally has support for the football program from the top that hasn't existed for over a decade.

The results so far: $30 million in donations so far in fiscal '23, merchandise sales second in the country, and rumors of a mega donor financing the expansion and rebuild of the west stands…

    Go Buffs!

  5. Used to only follow my school – UK – but your podcast is too good. Guess I really like college football now.

  6. Colorado and Coach Prime are in deep trouble. Klatt you’ve lost your marbles. Drinking prime-aid. And Wisconsin’s in trouble as well. Michigan owns the league doing what Wisconsin used to do. Wisconsin is your next Nebraska disaster. They (Wisconsin) are sure asking for it. As a Nebraska fan I have no problem with Wisconsin not learning from our disaster.

  7. i'm a husker fan that is realistic. if we get past that colorado game, which i think could be a trap game, then the sky is the limit. but, we'll have to wait and see.

  8. Wisconsin not a rebuild, would t even put them remotely in the same category as Nebraska, which is the definition of one. O line in place, running game in place, defense in place, thats not a rebuild

  9. Fair takes on Bucky by Klatt. As a Badger fan I'm extremely interested to see how this all comes together under Coach Fick.

  10. As both a Carolina Panthers fan and a Colorado Buffaloes fan, I can't wait for Matt Rhule to belly flop!

  11. I'm with your first thought on Wisconsin, I think Michigan has proved you can play Wisconsin-style and have success. I think some tweaks were a better idea than blowing the whole thing up, particularly with the expanded playoff coming.

  12. Does anybody really think, if CU beats TCU that they will then go home and lose to Nebraska??? Nope. It sounds nice to say CU will win one of the first two games, but what he's really saying is CU will beat Nebraska.

  13. I'm just shocked at how stupid Colorado fans are
. Their sheer ignorance is mind blowing. 😂 😂 😂

  14. FINALLY!!!! Smith and the Beavs getting the recognition they deserve… and impressed that Klatt realizes DJ doesn;t have to be awesome to make the Beavs great, he needs to be competent… if DJ just does even what angered Clemson fans, watch out.. remember we beat Oregon Ducks by our QB only throwing 60 TOTAL yards for the whole game!!! and we were the ONLY team to hold SC under 20 points, beating us only by three, when out QB gave FOUR interceptions!!!!
All we need is a decent QB… and DJ is far above decent
