You're not supposed to lift with your back
gym culture is so unhealthy😂. People goes to the gym to “be healthy” , ends up with endorphin addiction and a broken back
And this is why all gyms should be banned. Fitness is fake.
My goodness…
And arched back
With a stance like that, no wonder. You're supposed to lift yourself up along with the weights from a squatting position to standing, not cosplaying as a construction crane.
his form was not good, his hips was too low. We can see that his hips needs to reposition at the start (from where he start to lift to after some cm)
Spinal
Cause is dead lifting
That’s why you don’t ego lift. That’s why you need proper form with manageable weight. And me personally deadlift is not to do more than 2 reps, also I don’t use a belt so I know what weight I can do, a belt can be deceiving.
If you think that your live is useless, try to see that guy behind..
Lmao that form
That is not what KK meant by 'it's OK to dl with a rounded back'
Snap city…
Ego lifts never end
That's all I need to see I'm done deadlifting
Rare injury huh? This dude could dodge the bullet while a month later a newbie called Vicky can’t? RIP 😖
That was about the worst technique I've ever seen.
From what i see in this video this guy lifts with his spine but not with his back muscles, no wonder his spine snapped. If you have a curve like that on your back when you lift do less weight until you can do it with proper form, it called ego lifting and result is shown in this video. Look at the top athletes like Cailer Woolam or Clarence0, they have perfectly straight back when they deadlift and they deadlift much more than that guy here.
New fear unlocked
I broke my back. Spinal
He is pulling it with his lower back and the weight is too much!!
That acute lower back angle is no go
no one gonna mention the guy behind him clearly using the force to snap his spine?
The cause of him hurting his lower back was lifting too much with his lower back.. vs stabilizing with it. If you lift so much that your technique sucks you’re gonna hurt yourself guaranteed.
look at 0:23 wtf is that bending in his back, no wonder he got injured lately, hope he heals quick.
He was able to clear the weight when he dropped his hips lower. If the weight is too high for fucksake just put it down.
Everybody’s an expert from listening to other sexsperts gimme a break, listen to your body.
I don't bother with deadlifts and squats for this reason. Find safety exercises to do. Once your back goes, everything else goes.
Why lift heavy just do it safely
Poor form was the reason
Worst technical lift I have seen surprised his back lasted that long RIP spinal cord
OK, after seeing that i'm out of conventional now too. I get the point that Deadlift is an important movement, basic movement like squats, so it should be trained for longevity, posture, general strength, bone density and so on as Rippetoe points that out. But beeing a long legged/short arm lifter even 315 llb is getting me to a point of fear; the other day i felt some discomfort in my back, i guess, it was the SI-joint. But now i switch to trap bar. With long legs you get a deficit in quad strength, i made that experience. Trap bar can be a quad strengthener i guess. I continue my Starting Strength kind of program but with the Trap Bar from now on. Try not to overextend at the top, maybe my experience with conventional helps me find a good form in Trap Bar. Hope, that dude in the video is fine soon.
You can see how horrible his start position in the 2nd rep of the lift that broke his back. His back is nearly straight horizontal when he initiated his pull. His technique broke down after the 1st rep, props to him for trying to limit break but safety always comes first. No injury is worth a pb especially when it comes to your spine
STOP DOING DEADLIFTS! I got Rhabdo doing that!
Never neglect the Mcgill big 3. I do it every week in accordance with my deadlifting.
Bro, why you train heavy. You arms like spaghetti. This you your fault heheheh
and thats why i don't go more then 110kg i just ad reps every time 🙂 do you want to flex in the gym or be able to walk when ur 50 the choice is yours
lol thats his punisment for doing convential
Thank God!
Not sure how accurate the calorie counter can be but this is a very simple desk bike to keep you mobile and your heart rate up. I wouldn’t recommend this for a dedicated workout but as a buffer to prevent the issues that sitting at a desk all day can bring.
You never use Safety Guards….For 320Kilos you need to be properly using Safety Guards….Anyways i hope you are healing….my advise will be to stop lofting any heavy stuffs and take rest for 6 months atleast
