  1. I am raising an issue that affects me and more than likely others that bet on golf. It also directly affects sponsors and fans adversely.

Lately the coverage from the PGA tour US is entirely focussed on 'featured groups'. Golf fans watching the recent FedEx St Jude tournament in Memphis would easily be mistaken for thinking that the lead groups featured Rory Mcilroy, John Rahm and Scottie Scheffler. This of course was not true, although hard to tell from the coverage as it did not follow the lead groups. For some reason that maybe the PGA tour could explain, they choose to focus on players they consider more beneficial to their needs than the needs of fans.

I like to bet on golf. I have now stopped betting on the golf as it's impossible to get a 'feel' for the leaders when they are not included in the coverage. Now, I stop watching the PGA tour and I stop betting on the golf.

As far as I can see, it's pretty plain that Bet365 along with at least 2 other betting platforms are major partners with the PGA tour. Why then are sponsors and major PGA partners allowing the PGA tour to turn against the fans by nor providing coverage of players that are leading the tournaments? Why do players who aren't even in contention being followed by the cameras? Are Cap and shirt sponsors dissatisfied with their lack of coverage for their chosen players who've fought hard to be leading a tournament and not being seen? What is the current PGA agenda on covering the likes of Rory McIlroy at the expense of the tournament leaders?

Sponsors and players must be dissatisfied as well when you start losing income from fans who like to bet on golf??? And now won't be watching as it is now much more difficult to get a feel for the game due to the lack of truthful coverage.

I am hoping for a well considered response.

    Regards,

    Nick O'Connor (Australia)
