  1. was Thompsons match all the way but carlos has the magic…i doubt he will win this tournament however

  2. I don't think that even prime Federer had his ass kissed this much by the commentators like this guy does

  3. He's not playing well but he's also 20.
He's at a level that the other three were not in just two years.
This was a difficult day it was a lot of waiting for rain delays and it was stop start.
That's tough for someone with not a lot of experience.
He doesn't have the mentality of the big three I don't see that yet that takes time It's also personality. He did very poorly last summer on the hard courts and then won the US Open.
When he threw the racket last week I knew that he was feeling if not the pressure possibly overwhelmed.
He won Wimbledon which is more than I expected I think he needs a break.
At least his coach is here this week He was not present last week maybe that will be a determining factor.

  4. It's not that easy for Alcaraz at the moment. Everyone watches him and looks at his hands, what mistakes he makes. He is now the hunted.

  5. This win is an example that separates the best from the rest.

Even when you’re playing well below your best, you find a way to hang on and win.

  6. The way Alcaraz closed out that match showed how devastating he can be. Monster talent 10x

  7. Missed opportunities for Thompson in the first 2 sets. Alcaraz made a lot of errors and Thompson just didn't take advantage at all.
Can't do that against a player like Carlos. You know you will get punished.

  8. A lot of people saying Alcaraz played bad here but to be fair its was Thompson that made him uncomfortable that forced him to play bad, credit to this guy who is improving very quickly! He has a very bright future if he keeps improving at the rate he is.

  9. Thompson played great full credit to him but alcaraz needs to find his rythme on hard courts soon

  10. It wasn't very petty, but Carlos got it done. You cannot count him out until it's done 🎉🎉🎉

  11. I was acting like a foool at work. Those shots are ridiculous Alcaraz. I mean my God are you trying to get me fired 🤣 We need to tighten up though. There are a few folks called Paul and Sinner we’re going to meet 😅

  12. Listening to the commentary alcaraz was the only player on the court. Would have sworn it was 6/0. 6/0

  13. This summary lives up to the (good) old principle of showing the points where the guy at the net loses. I do recognize it looks cool with those passing shots and lobs, but I want the net players to have more success in modern tennis, so I cheer for the guys who can win points with strong volleys (and not just drop volleys, as Alcaraz so often does).

  14. It seems Alcaraz is trying to take care of himself not playing at that intensity that we're used to see from him. For some reason he looks a little slower in every aspect like reaction, strikes, movement… who knows what's happening to him 😕

  15. Way too many forehand errors from Alcaraz, form needs to improve a lot if he wants to defend that us open

  16. Alcaraz is unbeatable. He will be new GOAT. Next year he will win all four grand slams.

  17. Tomara que tu perca so por causa das tuas curtinhas, infame pool vai ganhar teu b4ilho ta acabando.

  18. Wow…who's this 'Thompson' guy? He's amazing! Of course, Alcaraz is the best but Thompson seems to have the same angled shots and never-give-up attitude that Alcaraz has. This is a great matchup.
