  1. Great comparison. From what you've shown here, and based on what I've seen in my own testing on an LM, I'd be willing to bet that the biggest change from V2 to V3 (apart from the more durable cover) is that the V3 balls are a bit higher compression. When I've tested any higher compression balls I get similar results–more ball speed and less spin with driver, and less ball speed with more spin off the irons due to not compressing it as much with the irons. The MGS ball tests show that same pattern also.

  2. Glad to see they were able to reduce the spin a bit have you found the V3's to be more durable? I know that's a complaint a lot of people had w/ the V2's

  3. You have to do a water balance test. I like the soft feel of v2. Haven't tried v3 yet. More spin might be better for slower speeds to get the ball up.

  4. Durability never an issue with me, I lose all these balls before they get damaged :p Will finish off the V2 until they run out.

  5. The Kirkland name seems to be gaining ground more and more with each product release. Once again, looks like so much fun testing on the indoor simulator.

  6. Just happy Costco is disrupting the golf ball market. I feel either are great for the average guy.

3 balls lost in a round = 3$ for the K-Sig and 12$ for a PV1 (just had to do the math;)
